I know you don’t take unfair ban requests here but i just have to bring it to your attention to see what you have to say for yourself. My friend just got banned for a month today for cheating, that he had some type of cheat program running which he didn’t have. Then he appeals and they tell him that a “specialist” has reviewed his account and found that he RMT’d for 420000 gold when he only has 250000 gold and never RMT’d. He said he hasn’t and for him to have so what gold he has is that he only really uses 1 character and has been saving his gold for when artist comes out.
We’re pretty sure he hasn’t even sold that many accessories to reach that amount they’re claiming. If he somehow had some RMT money that was just from selling accessories on the auction house like everyone else does. This reminds me of a topic asking about a similar situation where one of the mods here said that we are selling accessories at our own risk and if a RMTer buys one then we’re out of look because we have NO WAY of knowing if random players buying our accessories are RMTers. I mean I just sold a 90k necklace, so if that person RMT’d I would be banned? He can’t even post in the forums cause he banned, and he can’t even talk to a real person at support because they only automate it through email. What can he do when he didn’t do anything wrong.
Does this mean that we should all stop using the auction house for fear of being banned because of some RMTers? Like this is a really crappy situation, where normal players get punished. Plus is he ever comes back after the ban he will be -200k because some random RMTer bought his accessories cause he never sold any accessory any near that crazy amount. He even shows us his accessories because he doesn’t know what would sell for a lot so this seems even more bogus. This is 100% an unreasonable ban.
