Not trusted - Poor response from CSR

Received a reply to my ticket, can a CSR verify this is true before I submit a complaint to the ASA (Advertising Standards Authority) in the UK and a complaint to Steam to remove the ‘Free to play’ tag

I would recommend making sure that you have mobile 2FA turned on your steam account. That is usually what limits most trusted status.

thanks for response but pretty difficult that since I dont have a mobile phone, but 2fa in the form of steam guard has been on for more years than I can recall

I have 2fa active on steam for 2 weeks and I still can’t make trades or send email. exchanges and emails will only be released for those who spend 5$??

Good day, How long does it take to re enable the trusted account status? since a few months back I was able to gain the “trusted account” by loading and buying more than $5 worth. When I was about to mail a few collectables to my partner, says its disabled “again” though I could still trade/mail a few days ago. I just turned on my 2FA in my steam account 10-15mins ago iirc. Thanks in advance for the answer :grin:

I’ve had 2fA on my account pretty much the length of time I’ve had my account. Definitely spent more than $5 in the store, yet I still can’t mail or trade. :confused:
