You’ll be greatly missed lol.
It’s sad to see that people ask the world of the devs, asking for every little thing, and people come here to complain on forums yet don’t bother to do the bare minimum of reading changes they made for us. Not saying they’re perfect, but I’m sure they expect some level of reciprocity. If you can take the time to complain on forums, you can definitely take a few minutes to read over patch notes.
Or they could just put relevent information in game. Is it asking for too much to ask a games systems be explained inside the actual game we’re playing? I guess in 2022 it is. At least in KR they make offical videos and promote the hell out of them before release, but honestly i still don’t think thats the answer. The answer is simply displaying a little bit of info on the event screen. A lot of mmos implement patch notes in game when you log in as well. There are many options as to how they could make the information more visible.
Have it as an external source and players are going to miss it. No matter who you blame the problem will occure again and again until you increase visibility.
And who that is problem lern to read forum patch note ir cry .gj ags ty
Shouldn’t be up to the players to search through forums or watch videos to figure out anything… it should be clear IN GAME ( like nothing else is in this game) XD ngl I still like it
but would see quite a few things changed.
So let’s say they implement this fix of 1100 plus not being able to claim super express. This creates another problem as there are folks who only play 1 character and now they cannot participate in the event. This would cause an issue at well for these players so this is also not a solution. The fact of the matter is the event was implemented properly.
It’s the player failure to ignore reading patch notes regarding the new event, which clearly state how to optimize the use of the event. As others mention most everyone does research for mokokos, virtue, class builds, skins from KR build, farming gold, and/or quests, etc.
Y’all should be grateful to the devs for taking the time out to help address the mistake players made which could have gone into “re-rigging” the skins that everyone so desperately wants.
And yet of course there is still crying about how they didn’t implement the fix correctly and people being upset. I am with everyone on better communication, but damn there really is not satisfying some people huh? When you point a finger at someone you have three pointing back.
/Endrant
P.S. Thank you @Roxx and other CMs for being so patient with the players with unrealistic expectations.
Thats exactly my point lol. Imagine a defending a game that failed to explain the basics of a system in game. Imagine if final fanstay 7 didnt tell players how to equip materia… read the patch notes bro… what lol
That is the fault of the player, everyone should read updates, information and more from official platforms, they are there so that everyone can read it. What are the people doing when we get patch notes where you read 10+ min, how it is in other kmmo from time to time. Then they want to open 50 sites with F5 and to close it with ESC and when they want to read second or third you start from site 1
Ya , clear as mud that…
Yeah you’re right. Games should make no effort to teach players their systems and players should have to reseach to understand everything.
I actually studied game design and teaching players how to play with or without instructions is 101. Mario is a great example of instructionless teaching based on player positioning, the first enemy etc.
I know , let’s put 25 more dead stats on all the gear instead of explaining anything about how anything works… or my favorite -5% dmg from lucky monsters …. What in the real fuck is a lucky monster … does anybody know ? Lol
You mean like this?
I mean they use twitter, youtube videos, post on steam, forums, way more than they do in KR. Correct me if I’m wrong, but doesn’t KR also not have a UI for patch notes in game? Or are you trying to create false comparisons trying to push your narrative?
So you want the devs to create an in game UI that will help people who won’t help themselves by checking one of the many places they put it. Yes, creating an in game UI would help but that also takes time away from the devs that I’m sure would be put into more useful things, such as putting out new content and making sure we are caught up to KR. Pretty sure devs expect you to do the bare minimum once again. I don’t see how this is any different than you looking up a build guide or looking up how to do an island, or etc.
Show me the video explaining the express even. Also i went on to say, this isnt enough
A simple text dialogue box takes next to no time at all.
This tells me all I need to know about what you know. UI changes are not as simple as “copy and paste” and insert to your screen.
Aw the snowflakes flagged this one on you, just gonna bump it because true.
It really isnt hard at all. Im a dev myself.
This was massively promoted in Korea at the time. The developers new further explanation and visibility was needed. We got a tweet and a patchnote. Again i still maintain this alone still isnt enough.
Even wothout speaking Korean, you’ll notice they explain exactly how the system works and what players should do.
A dev for what?
