Unable to progress 2nd awakening quest because of this.

Bummppppp…. Over one month of no stronghold…

Edit (16-Mar): AGS followed up to my ticket submitted 13-Mar and added Heart’s Melody to my character while I was offline. Not sure if all is resolved but I was at least able to proceed in Punika MSQ.

Going to add my name/issue here as well, I guess. I’ve submitted tickets for a month with no real response and no fix.

I’d love to have my character fixed (Fistsofboom - missing MSQ, last completed was Legend Reborn) but really at this point I just desperately want my Stronghold fixed. I just found out that I can’t access Knowledge Transfer because my Stronghold quests are bugged, and man that is such a bummer, plus who knows what else I’m missing.

So to the point - my Stronghold is stuck at “finish researching Lab Lv. 2”, which I had already done prior to the server crash/rollback. So currently my Lab is at Level 3 (after a month of progress) but the questline has never advanced. Would appreciate literally ANY help at this point.

Were efforts to fix the Stronghold quests just abandoned? It’s been a while with no fix or updates.

I have the same issue as a few people above, my Tortoyk quest was missing after the server outage, I continued on with the other world quests, I got to Punika yesterday and am unable to continue the quest because I do not have the Heart’s Melody song required for the Lailai Preparations world quest. Have been awaiting CS responses for over a month now but nothing is being done.

Same as last few, I just reached T3 but cant continue with the story because I need a song that I couldn’t get on Tortoyk island. Need fix or else game is really broke as I cannot move forward with punika.

I’ll be online all day, I need this fixed, it’s been a very long time already.

This sadly seems to be true. I have a large compilation of chats/ticket emails with agents. Not one could give me an answer as to whether the stronghold issue is technically fixable. I need to know this so i know whether to keep playing the game, but with hundreds of messages, they just dodge that question each time. If it is possible, will we be getting quite a few catch up materials/power passes etc for the past month of missing stronghold? If it is not fixable, i assume we would get a refund on the founders pack (and destroy the account) at the very least as the game is not as advertised for us. (this is an “extraordinary circumstance” as far as i can tell, so steams no refund policy would not apply, correct?) As far as i can tell, the consumer’s rights act backs this up as well.

@Chesca @ArthurFleck @Roxx @Seawolf I understand you cannot fix our issue and do not blame you, but are you able to answer whether it is even possible to fix, or is that not within your scope?

Do yourself the favor by quitting and not looking back if you still have the bugged stronghold.

Eh, im still having fun with the game for now and hoping there’s a fix. If not, i will get a refund before quitting (per the consumer rights act), as the digital product is “not as described” by the seller.

happy to see this game crash and burn, never have had such a craptastic bug ruin the starting experience. And then received 0 fixes, and 0 compensation for money spent. What a absolute joke. First and last time playing anything with the AGS or Amazon logos good luck for anyone still trying to get any kind of fix for this nightmare.

Add smile gate to the mix. It’s not just Amazon, smile gate is the group of programming apes who have a server structure whose database gets easily unsynced when their server crashes, and can’t figure out a way to fix a character progress bug.

Yeah Here in Galatur Land we got issues on issues seems like we are on ignore and if player base goes down will we get help or people going to get laid off so we in the same sinking ship as current? Pun? Sad the state of things. Maybe people will go back to New World? LMOA! Still having fun all though not as much as lots of people I know are gone now sadly. Maybe things will get better IDK.

Weird, i assumed the servers would be run by AWS. Didn’t know SG used their own. In any case, it seems this is just a containment thread lol. Don’t think any employees are looking at it anymore : /.

They aren’t dodging the question, it’s just already been answered (multiple times at that, they really should update the original post with links to the more lengthy explanations), they do not currently have the tools available to fix roster-wide issues such as the stronghold bug that we’re facing.
The fact that we didn’t get fixed in the global script they ran, that apparently fixed quite a few players issues, means they can’t currently figure out how to fix us en-mass (resetting the quest-line probably)… Until that happens you likely aren’t going to be seeing a fix, either swap servers, wait, or move on like the rest of us.
Edit: the tldr is that we aren’t on top of the totem-pole of the issues atm, and they have a lot of them.
