One hundred percent. I dont know if the algorithm is fubar but I always get a support in my group when I am on my support. Luckily the bard dps build is fun to play because I often have to switch because of the MM.
I should also note I only MM for Chaos Dungeons. Everything else I utilize the Party Finder to ensure I get a balanced group but CD just seems easier to use the MM function as its the only alt I actually dont solo CDs on.
I do abyss on matchmaking tho, no need for supports.
But after that you have to do party finder. Yes, obviously they go to the party finder.
lol i did all of the tier 2 feiton abyss dungeons yesterday and literally had 5-6 bards spread across the 2 parties. It was ridiculous. dps wasnt bad though because most people have a dps spec and a support spec. and im sure there were some t3 mixed in there. but its funny how that works out
From what Ive seen those dps in matchmaking defently need a support with’em 
Just saying “dungeon” is bit of a red flag for what this discussion is even about.
The one who then says he has same experience in “chaos dungeon” gets flagged as answer to topic.
Chaos dungeons you would get a lot of supports as they are the only ones who might think to not solo it. Support could still solo them if they wanted but we do hear of them wanting to group up for it.

Don’t use matchmaking. Even KR doesn’t use matchmaking. Even the KR streamers refuse to do matchmaking. Last time I saw a streamer use matchmaking it was Stoopzzz and his group took forever to clear Argos P1 with a griefing Berserker. And then he said “I’m never going to use matchmaking ever again”. So yeah don’t use matchmaking
You are using random matchmaking and being placed with random classes, so it’s working properly. If you want to choose your group, use party finder.
The times I used MM on my bard (mostly random guardian raids) I never had any problems with it.
Using MM for Chaos Dungeons… Why would I ever do this? To support Bots?
I‘m faster in Chaos dungeons with my bard than with my Wardancer. There is literally no point in doing them as a group, especially MM is super bad due to bot invasion.
Stop doing stupid things. Get some class knowledge and you will be faster solo than in a group. Easy as that.

Ive only had this issue twice. Once with one other support and once with 2 other supports. Other than that i havent run into this.
i love my bard and paladin, people are almost begging for supports i dont see why you have such a hard time take a look in the party finder and they most likely accept you

It is funny that you want to give feedback on matchmaking tool and people say “don’t use matchmaking it is bad” instead of “yes it is bad how can we make it better”
Having a 1 support option is good. You should be able to tick whether you are queueing as dps or support. This is common for matchmaking features used by other games.
I think the game should also force people into support training as bard/pala as there are quite a few who pick things at random and essentially are a dead person in the group as they don’t provide either dps or support.

Yeah the first answer i get was special, people just told me to never use matchmaking because its not good, and my feedback was just saying something is wrong with matchmaking lol.
You must have ridiculously bad luck. Once in a great while I get matched with another support, but I have never been matched with more than 1. I main Paladin too. I have a secondary set of accessories for chaos dungeons and so I can also switch to doing damage if I am grouped with another support. It’s not true DPS class damage, but it is not as horrible as people think either. Also it’s easily enough to clear the content we have have now if I get grouped with another support

I see supports all over and if i use auto match make for cube/boss i almost always get 2-3 support in my group.

Also in guardian raid i have up to a 15-40 sec wait while my 1 dps is always instant.
I’ve got the same problem when i queue pvp on my paladin.
More than 50% of my games (probably closer to 60-65%) are double support on my team and no supports on the opposing team.
When I queue as my WD or DB it seems like I hardly ever have a support on my team.
Sure seems like something weird is going on.
