Ongoing bot problem

In previous patches, actions to be taken with bots were written. In the last 2-3 patches, no action was taken on bots and bots continue to kill the game day by day. We are waiting for an official statement when a permanent solution will be found on this issue. Too many players left the game due to bots in the game.

Because they continuesly ban bots so they don’t need to write it every time. I don’t see the bots as a big issue anymore. There are not many bots left. But true a permanent solution would be great

The bots are still very much an issue, go to Fesnar Highland and you see 10-20 of them running around, Same on Shadow Island and Runaway Island. I I keep spam reporting bots but I don’t know if it actually does anything or not since there is no confirmation if action has been taken.

The bots are already in Punika  But yes, North Vern swarms with them, I see them every time I end my Lopang run in Port Krona.

My community decided to stop playing until Amazon starts doing something with bots, and this is what you would understand more than 50 people, and there are a lot of people like us if you continue to think that bots are not a problem then good luck to you

Apart from waves of bans, amazon didn’t do anything else, but now it’s not even effective, banning is 5 bots, and tomorrow it’s already 10 bots in its place, the time has come for radical methods of playing for more than 7 months and during this time no significant measures have been taken to protect the game from bots.

There are now 190K players online with 100K robots. How can you say there aren’t many robots?

There is at least 75 new bots in EUC per few days I would say (or maybe even daily?)
obraz
(You can get 2 books from thronespire so 157/2 = 75~)

We can argue those are legit players but I have been tracking a lot of legendary books as of late and only Grudge has this phenomena.

Bot are more. Not all the bot are farming grudge…

I’ve started levelling an Arcana with the “old” method. My expereience is just depressing. Every continent is full of bots, stealing mobs and the worst…aggroing the mobs back and forth.

One of my guesses is that they simply dont want to do radical countermeasures or another big ban wave for marketing reasons.
If you would do this i guess the daily peak would drop from 190k to about 80k which wouldnt be that bad for an mmo imo.
But then there would be the risk to drop out of steams top 10 and most likely players would question the relatively high number of servers for an active playerbase of approximately 150k-200k (no warranty for that calculation).
So if you let that many bots stay in the game it keeps the suggestion of being a popular and well populated game still in the top 5 on steam.

Another proof for the high number of bots may be this:
I would say almost every active player did already achieve lvl 60 with at least one character.
Global achievements on steam says those are just 0,3% of the whole playerbase.
If mmo-population.com is correct then there are about 17 million accounts made (with bots this seems correct).
So there are just about 51k players that achieved lvl 60 aka still active.
Now that would be a very low playerbase atm.

Howcome some MMORPGs are growing while most are dying?

I actually quit playing for 6 months because of the bot infestation. I came back, just to see how things are. Log in at Lakebar to at least 20 bots fishing. It’s pathetic their response to bots. They honestly don’t care, at all. Sure Smilegate will go through the motions of ‘here this will help’, but it’s not going to change anything. I like the game. I honestly enjoy playing the game and different classes and the story isn’t that bad. But I can’t play this. At least half the population is bots. It’s depressing.

Yep, just take a look at the steam charts. EVERY other game without any prominent botting issues have conspicuous and patternable peaks and troughs on the steam charts that are completely nonexistent in Lost Ark.

However, since most of the players left have invested far too much time and resources in the game that they are so deep in denial it’s hilarious, saying steam charts is baloney, thinking LA is the only game that is “built different” thus its population is erroneously reflected the steam charts  The first guy that responded to this post even has the audacity to say “I don’t see the bots as a big issue anymore. There are not many bots left.” This pretty much sums of the magnitude of denial the community is in lmfao

They have sacrificed too much of their life since release. Thus, just considering that all the work they’ve invested are in vain, because their 1490+ ilvls will soon be insignificant and less and less people will be around to acknowledge their hard work, is enough to send them into a fit of rage.

There are always 200 thousand players in the game, how do you come to this conclusion?

Achievements of Steam are bugged as fck since day 1 mate, u cant use those to proof anything cause it just doesn’t work properly

Thats actually the first time i heard about that, where or from whom did you get that?

No need to get that, last month Steam achievements said that there was only 0.5% of the players in T3, cause there are an achievement for reaching T3. And reaching T3 is free so… ye, bugged af

Its called “superb gear” btw, im frequently checking the achievements myself so I just searched for any information to your statement and there is nothing.
If you can prove it then please show it to me otherwise its just an empty claim. I personally never saw 0.5% at that achievement. Maybe you mistook it for another one.

Either way if you go to this page Steam Community :: Lost Ark :: Achievements there are the accurate global achievements and from a logical perspective those seem pretty reasonable.
If your opinion differs then please explain why and try to prove it somehow.
Also if you dont understand some rates of the achievements I could also explain them but they should all be pretty obvious.

Why exactly is it free?
