i agree with that too. seeing everyone looking the same just simply turns me off… and makes me dislike playing the game just by that. now other’s may enjoy it but i simply don’t and will never do.
Have you actually played Vindictus for a reasonable amount of time to understand its dated graphics optimization or did you just google “KMMO that hides armor” to progress this contrarian charade?
There is a way to turn down a lot of the effects graphically.
Yeah, especially in towns. It was better once you got into an instance.
yep! so i gave it a big no haha
Oi oi oi you don’t talk ill of wielding a Sword Fish!

@Seawolf am telling all my friends to come and play Lost Ark, Am looking forward it, also for some reason I thought it will be released Jan,11. lol
I played Vindictus a lot back around 2011-2015 but recently downloaded it again for nostalgia.
While it still has a lot of the trash optimization as back then, I found that running the Beta 64 bit client worked a lot better.
There was also another option I toggled that improved things, but I forget what it was. Possibly Dx11.
Sure on the surface giving the players more choices sounds great, and in general I always support that. However, there are some other considerations here. Typically reducing drawing detail can give one an advantage in pvp, this should be avoided as this would become the defacto mode. Finally, I suspect that there aren’t graphic artists and coders sitting around looking for something to do. Thus these resources would have to be pulled from something else, so is this option worth more than what they are currently working on? That`s up to the devs to decide.
before such threads I always have the most fear when they find hearing. ^^ but I’m always fascinated that there are such people who are so a thorn in the eye and post such strange suggestions.
I would wish that such people would not even play the game.
I wish the thread creator that he / she keeps his / her shame and still has fun in the game and does not bother other people with it and instructs not to wear a full body condom. otherwise you must probably stay with your other game from which you have posted the screenshot and can enjoy the sight of the robes.
i personally am against any kind of censorship and even if men or women would run completely naked i wouldn’t care and i don’t pay attention to that while playing but since i like freedom i think it would be good if you could do that even if i wouldn’t do it myself. any kind of censorship I find despicable and am already shocked that censorship has made it at all thanks to amazon games (america) in this game. although you think that in the asian area the censorship is 100x more than with us (pixelp…) I find it even more frightening that with us the censorship is driven to the extreme.
not to forget the roleplaying aspect in every MMO game. the more important it is to have complete freedom over your character. if you are on an island on the beach as a couple, you like to wear a bikini or swimming trunks. the same applies to couples in love who live out their roleplay, no matter in which way, so i would say bikinis and other things ARE important for example.
i’m not a roleplayer myself but i always think it interesting to see how much certain people can put themselves in such a game by having freedom. (that’s why gta 5 is so popular) and I think lost ark - because it’s an MMO with a huge fantasy world as a roleplaying view very cool honestly, because you have your own island and can design it accordingly - UNLESS you are restricted.
if there is an option that would allow you to have all “naked” game characters wear robes i don’t think anything wrong with it as long as this option is and stays optional and the game is not restricted in any other way. but since the game will get restrictions anyway i think it would be only fair if your request for robes in the game should only be introduced if there is no censorship for it at all. i don’t care what you see me as in the end, but i still want to share my character and want others to perceive it as i would like them to - otherwise it would be a complete waste to give your character certain outfits if others see my character black bars.
Everyone who have seen my posts not just here but elsewhere on the forums know I don’t want censorship. I am however confused as to how this suggestion will affect you @Larn?
I’m going to use your example here:
You or anyone going to that beach to roleplay will not be turning on this feature and would see others or their other half of the couple in the bikini or swimming trunks. If anyone who doesn’t want to see all the swim wear that has the suggested feature turned on how does that affect you having it turned off?
If you say “Because they’ll be running around in armor and not swim wear” these people would still be doing that without the suggested feature.
wearing armour is soo 5th century
You have my vote. Please give us the option to hide costumes.
I can give you a tip stop playing maybe you should have found out beforehand what Lost Ark is AGS has pushed enough changed because of people like you ENOUGH IS ENOUGH !!!i would be happy if it stayed with this setting (low skin quality) but today you can see what ags did with the skins
… I would love to hide the silly costumes. It’s immersion breaking AF. You guys being able to wear and see them is fine on my book, but I would love a toggle to take it off.
Sorry but no. If i don’t have an option for hiding cockroach shadow hunter and others westernized changes then there will be no options for hiding skins either.
I mean technically they could do both because they already have the starting outfits attached to all classes when you unequip your current gear or when textures haven’t loaded yet, but yeah I don’t think they would put in that extra effort.
Also I’ve never heard of a game that had an option to hide how other players looked. Kinda invalidates the whole mmo thing, you might as well just be playing with npcs at that point
Perfect world international did it on a toggle
here is an option play a Christian game rather then try to force your morals on others. ![]()
And how many people play perfect world international in 2022? I played a perfect world game in like 2008 for a few days I think.
Who knows i dont play it. My reply was aimed at you saying you’ve never heard of a game doing it. Theres a few more but the names escape me.
Revealing skins are an issue for immersion (when in fact they’re not, they fit elves well) but not teddy bear costumes and the rampant streetwear ? What kind of bs reasoning is this ?
