Do you know what would greatly improve gameplay? Optional ways to deal with missions that require you to do a stealth mission within an instance. No offense, but a lot of people get annoyed when you force a stealth mission in an MMO if not done in a satisfactory way. Although the one when you break into the Heretic’s Church with Armen wasn’t so bad, I feel that the other stealth missions actually degrade the game a bit. There’s the required stealth part for Twilight Isle’s dungeon within 30% of the dungeon (something that can’t be skipped as doing it is required for players to unlock their second awakening for the first time), then there’s the stealth arc for Sublime Island that takes up 80% of the dungeon and is pretty annoying because of how much work you have to do leading up to the final boss (good thing it’s optional to do that island). the Stealth archs in Shinshire aren’t that bad in all honestly oddly enough. FINALLY, there’s the dreaded stealth mission during the quest “Preparing to Enter the Monastery” that everyone HATED for Feiton (and why some players would grind chaos dungeons so that they can skip Feiton and go straight to Punika). It’s nice that your going to give us a power pass so alts can skip that, but it feels that these stealth missions kind of deterated the fun value of this game. Here are my best solutions for certain stealth missions:
- Optional Skips for players who failed it a certain amount of times
- Lowering the difficulty of certain stealth by adding checkpoints, reduce objectives, and/or make the disguises we get be good enough that we have to be seen doing something suspicious in order to get caught (for example, in Twilight Isle’s dungeon, you can make it so if a priest sees you, he won’t approach you unless you started checking behind the paintings for the note).
These are my two cents but would greatly improve the game’s quality if we didn’t have that one stealth mission that’s preventing players from enjoying the game. I’m actually tempted to Skip Feiton because of the rumors and plan on giving up on it as soon I hit that quest and work towards Punika.
