its in normal mode… the attack is he spins a bunch then finish with slam… only way to avoid is either use time stop potion or have a support give you shield… and you cant premade party unless you finish it one time first so cant do that either.
only person that dodge the attack was number 3 who had an early start on running… one of them took the hit and lost half hp and the other tanked it with item.

While the other guy is absolutely being an ass, he’s right about how to do the fight. You step out into the fire and back in. It does not kill you, you don’t need support.

People on vid didn’t complain and tried to do it properly. I believe their reward for abyss did offset the cost of this consumable as well.
I understand you’re having a rough time with it, but this is how I clear it every single week along with the other people I group with. Step out right before the spin, back in as it stops, and the fire dot doesn’t build up to be overwhelming damage.
Battle items are added in the game as a crutch to assist players as needed, as stated by the devs. They are not needed for any content, but they can be helpful.
Gunslinger is the the squishiest dps alongside reaper and deadeye. Rip
If you can’t weave in and out of the fire for the first boss theres no way you’re gonna be able to dodge everything albion throws at you. 
Wishing you luck on the first boss for a follow up Albion in Oreha is impossible post.

Not true, what about certain tower levels where you can only succeed using said battle items?
This doesn’t pertain to every class in towers(support until they get their tower buffs), some classes don’t need to use any. You can switch skills and tripods around to clear it without items.
So I play Sorc here and I had the same problems for the last two weeks in this boss. Though my groups managed to kill him somehow I still have no Idea how to dodge the slam that kills almost everyone after the Spin and it has not been stated here up to now. So how do you perfectly play it? How do you now hes gonna spin before he does? By the way you cannot outrange the Slam.
Apparently there is red circle under him, however I do look for his specific pose to predict it and usually didn’t even notice it. I think animation is a lot earlier.
He also does everything in a scripted way, so you can kind of expect it.
Depends if he is on the middle of arena or on the side.
I play sorc too and I can tell you this: the main problem with sorcs that her skills have big animations that block vision and overlap with Boss skills

I don’t know if this is any troll pos or something, but you can dodge it, using the item or if u see him moving his off hand suddenly, it means he is going to do the spin attack, not sure right now because I forgot already, but the shockwave will still kill you if someone on your team gets hit by it, so if you guys find it difficult to dodge it, make sure to inform everyone that you guys will use the stopwatch to bypass the mechanic
