Oreha's Well shared ID normal / hard

If we, the players, take all of their choices without question of course we can’t have any change for the better. How can you take a justification to wait for almost a week like that? I think it’s dumb and bare of any logic, especially when the game doesn’t tell you that in the first place.

every reasonable feedback that can be implemented and meets high demand is relevent, doesn’t have to be from a korean player :slightly_smiling_face:.
our version, game economy and circumstances highly differ from korean version too sadly

Push.

they already took feedback they need to change core stuff from korean players, our point of view doesn’t matter on this kind of stuff.

If you want to believe that, fine. In my opinion, this serves no purpose except create frustration and slow down players, something I’d rather not have in a good game.

“This is literally the first time there is a shared ID among normal and hard modes of a dungeon”

This is literally the first abyss dungeon with a hardmode…

Hard mode vs easy mode on separate tiers having shared lock, doesnt make sense… not sure why people defend it because it exists on other versions. It doesnt make sense on other versions either.

Also inb4 well theyre both t3.

yeah, not happy with it either. It’s compound problem. The share itself doesn’t really bother me, I could wait for reset.

But it also splits our groups if 1-3 people are 1370 and 1-3 are not they can’t run together that well…

Wouldn’t be that bad if this was not also the very first place where you can’t even progress by any means without the “hard content”. Up until now you could progress through chaos/events/playing, avoiding raids/dungs, either because you don’t like them or like in our case not everyone in group can run it yet.

But this is the hard stop. And with lock on top of it. There is only Argos… with PUGs… and I already lost my nerves there.

Its the same dungeon…

The hard mode is a little harder and gives more rewards.

But its still THE SAME dungeon.

U get 1 dungeon entry a week.

Sooooooo

1 entry.

No matter if u chose normal or hard mode.

Logically speaking, you’re right. But why would it be fine to start applying logic at a crucial bottleneck in the game progression structure? They could add the drops to chaos dungeons, guardian raids - really any sort of content, but they chose to gate it weekly behind an activity that is one of the best sources of materials during the pre-1370 drought. And that sucks. My main argument is that there are plenty of ways to solve this, because it doesn’t add anything to the game and only stops people from playing their characters more.

Huh? Best source for material? Have you actually checked how little you get from T3 abyss? Whether it is normal or hard? You get about 1 day worth of chaos dungeon, if that.

Honestly, normal people would have just said “oh, so normal and hard share same entry count per week. Thats a bummer” and move on. It feels more of a “i want it this way” problem rather than an actual issue. You not being able to get T3 legendary pieces for few days is not the end of the world.

I think for some people (myself) our friends are getting into 1340 while we’re pushing past 1370, with the entry lockout (rather than loot lockout) it means I can’t do high level content with my friends unless I spend resources to get a T3 alt up to 1340 (which might actually be beneficial for gold generation etc actually)

I mean they could indicate that in game somewhere it’s not like that’s immediately obvious.

In FFXIV Hard Modes are different than normal modes, different layout and everything.

In WoW Heroic and Normal don’t share lockouts.

It wouldn’t be immediately obvious to any MMO player to just intuit that they would share a lockout.

I think the main reason for entry lockout for weekly contents in general is due to bussing(whether it is paid or free). I also find it inconvenient to not be able to enter weekly dungeons more than once, as they are typically thr most fun contents, and I was in a similar situation that you described, so just decided to hit 1385 for honing bonus research then got my alts to 1340 to run with friends. They also provide good ROI.

Yeah as I was typing it I was like “Eh now that I’m 1370 it’s probably a good plan to get another to 1340 for the content”

Time to focus on Pinkgunnyman!

I would recommend getting your main to 1385 first while getting alt to 1325 then push to 1340 once you get the research done.

1370 to 1385 is not difficult (though costly) and 10% honing bonus, 20% reduced mats is quite huge for your alts.

If you use gold for bonus loot, it’s definitely more than 1 day of materials and if you’re not able or willing to pay for more materials, that may just be enough to push you over the edge - however you don’t know if it will, because upgrades are based on chance unless you’re at max pity.

There are quite a few “not-normal” people in the feedback forum, if that is your definition of normal. Of course I want it that way, because it’s not fun in any way being blocked from progressing my main character for nearly a week. And if you didn’t have the same problem, congrats on being lucky/rich enough to not face that struggle, but personally I don’t like having my time wasted for no reason.

Oreha Normal

Eye of Ayra
Dest 48 Guard 96 Leap 4(x2 with xtra loot)

Orehas preveza
Dest 60 Guard 120 Leap 4 Shards 600 (x2 with xtra loot)

With extra loot, it is about days worth of guardian and chaos dungeon plus some change…

That’s not counting the materials you get from dismantling 95% of garbage items. So it is still more than 1 day of extra resources, and yes, in hindsight I would have waited but it is what it is. Do you think this solution is fun though? Do you honestly believe anyone running into that wall is having fun after having spent possibly weeks of failed attempts at honing?

No, I just think you are letting your emotion get the better of you and blowing things out of proportion. It would be one thing to criticize lack of clear explanation but your post goes way beyond that. Also, 15 or so junk you dismantle is about 15 to 20 dest and 30 to 45 guardian stones. Insignificant amount.
