thats fair but u usually should save gold for the books as well, specially if you know ull play that class.
and class3 being expensive is normal, majority of players get x12 class books
I got all mine under 7k with only a 6/6 stone. All 70+ quality. However, I cannot afford any gear with class engravings on it.
My summoner will stay 4x3+1 for a long while. I can get into valtan only if lucky. All other raids above. 100% no. Kind of sad:(

the seller has the same gamble maybe he coudl get now 700k or safer 200k or wahtever in a month it will pürobably not even sell for 100k.
Obviously the most demand is right now and u have to compete with the gold don’t matter i wanna have fun people soo its natural that there are so overpriced items.
But books also are not cheap.
Week 1 they were like 24k per book, that gives you 480k for 20.

As much as you want to play your favourite character I’d recommend to focus on upgrading her character level, gearscore and tripods for now. The gear for Summoner will be dramatically overpriced like other new classes have been in the past upon release. Those prices will come down in time and it’ll be much easier to give her a great build.
I don’t know, but I geared it around reaper release with shock training, ambush, grudge, keen blunt and I don’t have any legendary engravings like grudge cause I’m a support main so I invested my gold into desperate salvation and awakening. But I checked and anything with 4/3 isn’t cheap at least on my region especially anything with shock on it
Reaper is during Hyper Express Events which is probably the reason why prices are that high… Should have waited especially if you were chasing for 4/3.
BTW 4/3 can be done with Legendary which is more likely cheaper than Relics.
I built multiple 5/3 and it never costs me above 100k gold, I think the highest was around 70k gold not including free pheons. If you add engravings yes but that works with all the characters in the pool and I bought a completed Grudge for approximately 80k gold.
It’s a new class bro, look at another class and see how their gears are really cheap. How can you say it a “gate keeping” when they totally can sell it for that price. And gold not only come from Royal crystal , it’s from Raid, bussing, selling. And amny people has saved up milions of gold from the first day game lauched.

Shock has always been expensive, My scrapper again is now a 5x3. I have always struggled getting gold in this game due to the gatekeeping. No matter if I know the mechs or not. I have been struggling to find anything with reflux/swift for my sorc. I am not sure what is going on…

Go 4x3 it’s enough. And you need an excel calculating for minimize the cost.
Shock is half of its price a month ago. class3 combat5 accessories now is just around 80-120k for a good quality piece. Back to last month it would be 130k-180k. Back to the day when Big streamer like Zealsambition chasing meta Shock Scrapper their accessories can be 200-250k. Price change during time and scenario
If you don’t mind can you post your shock Scrapper profile here (gems, engravings, card, gears,…), so we can help figure out the issue of getting gate keeping. Normally they accept 4X3.
For 4/3? Legendaries can produce a 4/3 and I check Shock Training / Grudge and they are 400-500g each.
Shock Training Engravings hovers at 10k gold each back in November. Now Shock Training Engraving hovers at 7.5k gold each. Guess what was in November.
I listed my scrapper stuff. I havent logged on today to check if it sold or not. With all this Dcing I am not even sure if I can raid and its pissing me off…
I did manage to pull this off which while its budge and nothing really special I am pretty happy about. I rolled a 8/6 stone and I have lego Adren books so it worked out 
Now I just need books and a neck
Shock build, so it’s spec accessories. My scrapper runs on crit + swift taijitsu, way cheaper to build and even more fun to play.
There’s no reason to perfectly gear a newly released class. The class accessories and books are, for obvious reasons, extremely rare right now. Stick with double Argos drops with +9 class engraving and accept that 5x3 isn’t happening straight away.
Because it’ll still take weeks to level your Summoner to 60 she will be a pariah in raids anyways, spending Asmongold amounts of resources won’t help you get into pugs.
For reference, I also have a Summoner. I either ask friends to carry me or buy busses in legion raids.
Well try doing x12 grudge now with a book at 17k gold. For some reason even Raid Captain went from 3.5 k to 6.5k, and adrenaline from 4.5 k to 9k. And true, you can make 4x3 with legendary and good lich getting into a raid at 1450 with legendary acc.
Even non meta builds like my perfect suppresion for SH has at least 200k for gear.
It’s a game specifically for whales. If you aren’t buying thousands of dollars worth of RMT / FOMO bundles you are at an extreme disadvantage.
The relationship between AGS / Smilegate and their whales is despicable and will never change.
Just move on and never play another dogshit p2w whale game.
