If you can’t understand the difference between why they should have delayed argos or at least told us when they wanted to release it VS valtan being delayed, despite all the honing events they give us, you’re just not very smart.

But my point is not really about Argos’s release. It’s about Valtan’s timing. Was Argos’s release bad because of no mats for most players? Yeah, I agree with you on that.
But since then, we’ve been pounded with events. Every Tom Dick and Harry has a 1400. Punika is filled with 1400s running around. Lots of people talk non-stop about their 1370 alts because they just siphon mats to their remaining 1340 alts to push them to 1370.
The playerbase is FAR more ready for Valtan right this instant than they were for Argos. And at this rate, lots of people will be going to Valtan Hard on week 1 too, since we still have more than 2 weeks to it. The people who played Argos week 1 are all already 1445 off DAILY mats. Most of them are pushing 1460 for stronghold buff.
This means that despite wanting players to “catch up”, it’s still not happening. What is going to happen is the top 0.1% is going to push a bunch of alts to 1415 day 1 if they bring the stronghold buff at 1460 which they probably will. This means 1 Valtan Hard + 2-3 Valtan Normals per week.
But anyway, it’s worse because the playerbase is so strong now. We have so many people on 3x4 engravings with perfect stats, not just the stronger players. Valtan is still not coming for a while, when it really should’ve come with the South Vern update due to the insane amount of mats from double events + extension of events.
Nothing’s gonna change in the next 17 days other than wanting people at 1390 right now to get to Valtan Normal. But people at 1390 now are not exactly the frequent hardcore players unless they are new players that started late March or early April or something. They wouldn’t care then that they won’t make it to Valtan day 1 because they are catching up anyway.
There was no reason to delay Valtan further when they dropped the bare bones South Vern. All it did was give Smilegate a MASSIVE headache because they have NEVER once split their code that way for any region. And none of it for even a decent gain in anything because nothing’s gonna really change anyway at this point.
If AGS is going to make them do that much work, might as well have funneled it all to a new class and make people stop waiting forever for their mains.
Progress Is different based on your luck tho.
I’ve literally been pitying 5-6/10 upgrades.
It’s either pity or 80-95%. I rarely get anything better than that.
I’d probably be at 1440 aswell with average RNG but that’s not the case sadly.

But do what exactly? U said u don’t like horizontal content or altaz so you can get an hyper express pass and be 1490 in any class you choose, and then u can grind all you want the endless content without having to wait. Money won’t be an issue since you are f2p and better than 99.99% of the people in making money, surely won’t be hard for you or take more than a few days
I have 2 characters valtan ready and 4 1370+ alts. I just know what’s healthy for the game and not.

Also, I WANT valtan to be released in May because they told us this in advance with a roadmap and we have had plenty of events to push people who play alot to 1415 and even 1445. I only argued that argos is completely different and the outrage makes sense, hence the original point of this thread.
