I’m sitting on a fiber optic 2GB/s connection in Canada. Which means I’m not in the US and I actually get what I pay for. I connect to the closest game server with 30 or less ping depending on if its Chicago or New York. Chicago is generally 12 ping, New York is 20-30 depending on the server capacity at the time. This is speaking purely from PoE servers (because it is the only game where I get blatantly told what ping I have to said server, without changing settings) which everyone who has played it knows it is not the greatest, and LA has better servers.
Again, kick and scream all you want, you will not get what you want.
Once again my ping can be good in every gate. Then at the third gate. of Vikas he starts going crazy how this is problematic

What I just realized about your entire argument is that it doesn’t make sense.
If you just accept anyone into your party, then you don’t need to make a lobby. You can just match make. That way, you don’t need to worry about pings and the game potentially implementing a ping to “gatekeep” liabilities from the team.

I don’t matchmake because I cannot guarantee a Glavier and Artillerist, both of which make these 2 legion raids incredibly easy as Glavier has infinite counters and Artillerist just ignores mechanics entirely while dishing out DPS. I do not go in without a Glavier and an Artillerist. This is the only reason I don’t matchmake. If you don’t like that, I don’t care. I play how I want to play, and in doing so have proven that gatekeeping gear and engravings is entirely unnecessary. I’m sure that across my entire time playing I’ve had people with obscene pings, didn’t bother me any, in fact I didn’t even notice because I don’t care if someone dies.
And no, I’m not going to provide you with any information on my character and server, I have no reason to, I play my own game. Your issue is that you believe anyone who disagrees with you has something to prove to you. News flash, I don’t have to prove anything to you. Your opinion of me does not matter to me.
