Party leader in lobby should be able to each player's ping

No one is kicking and screaming here, so please stop the projection.

What I just realized about your entire argument is that it doesn’t make sense.
If you just accept anyone into your party, then you don’t need to make a lobby. You can just match make. That way, you don’t need to worry about pings and the game potentially implementing a ping to “gatekeep” liabilities from the team.

Nice try. But no.
And you haven’t provided me your server and char name so that my undergeared friends can join you. We will record this session and post it live on youtube for views to see how your raids go.

well guys it was fun while it lasted. seems after getting my hyperinflated accessories, now i need to immigrate to server location to play. shit keeps getting expensive yo

I don’t think you are understanding the topic of this post. Would you like to read again?

I don’t matchmake because I cannot guarantee a Glavier and Artillerist, both of which make these 2 legion raids incredibly easy as Glavier has infinite counters and Artillerist just ignores mechanics entirely while dishing out DPS. I do not go in without a Glavier and an Artillerist. This is the only reason I don’t matchmake. If you don’t like that, I don’t care. I play how I want to play, and in doing so have proven that gatekeeping gear and engravings is entirely unnecessary. I’m sure that across my entire time playing I’ve had people with obscene pings, didn’t bother me any, in fact I didn’t even notice because I don’t care if someone dies.

And no, I’m not going to provide you with any information on my character and server, I have no reason to, I play my own game. Your issue is that you believe anyone who disagrees with you has something to prove to you. News flash, I don’t have to prove anything to you. Your opinion of me does not matter to me.

Again kick and scream and attack people all you want, you are not getting what you want.

Lmao come to Canada, internet stable here unless Rogers having a meltdown

So you are gatekeeping people who don’t play Glavier and Art now? But it’s not okay for others to gatekeep players who consistently die and mess up mech because of their high ping?

Explain to me how does that make sense?

And no, I’m not going to provide you with any information on my character and server,

We both know you were not being honest here.

Yes it is gatekeeping to reserve a slot for 1 Artillerist and 1 Glavier, totally. You are not the first person in the world to be incapable of understanding the difference between apples and oranges. You are also not the first person incapable of understanding that not everyone is a liar who disagrees with you

You still haven’t answer your illogical point.
A lot of words said, with no meaning. Tsk tsk

I did answer, just went over your head it seems

Where’s the answer?

there you go, went over your head

Please, from the get-go, I can smell your lies and bs a mile away.

No one in their right mind would ever just randomly accept everyone in a lobby search. So are you lying? Or is something wrong with how you think?

There’s a reason matchmaking exits.

That is literally the text book definition of gatekeeping

I’m sure you accept everyone into your party. Such a good person!

Within reason yes actually.

Why not?

Well then, is it reasonable to reject a person because their ping is soo high that they consistently fail vykas’s mech and wipe the party? Is that “evil” or “bad” to gatekeep so that you save the other 7 player’s time and resources?

Depends on the circumstances - could just be a hiccup in their connection. Party composition shouldn’t be based on how good someones connection is

Party composition shouldn’t be based on how good someones connection is

That’s your opinion. But I think the majority of players accept another person into their party with the view of this person may actually be good enough to get the job done yes?

So if the person’s connection is soo bad that they keep dying and messing up the mech, are they getting the job done?
