That is your view, it is just wrong, but that is your view. It seems I actually have to speak between the lines because you are actually incapable of cognitive reasoning.

  1. Gatekeeping gear and engravings make 0 sense to me, and will always make 0 sense to me until there are hard DPS checks in the game. Inferno Valtan was the first one. This I believe should only be done with a static, as you can confirm that people you are going with have the same experience you do, and the same understanding that you do. It is a hard fight, so gatekeeping this makes sense, especially in party finder. Anything else in the game currently though? It doesn’t make sense. Gear and Engravings only tell you how much damage a person will take, and how much damage they can do, it does not tell you how good that player is. Seeing as damage is not a problem in either raid, and DPS is not a check in either raid, gatekeeping either of these is useless to you. RL is probably the most hilarious gatekeep I have ever seen in any game. All it does is says: this person plays alts. What the hell does that have to do with skill lol.

  2. I guess in a fringe definition you could call wanting a Glavier and Artillerist gatekeeping, its such a stretch though and you should know this. The reason is very simple: I can go into both Valtan and Vykas without supports if it is faster to do so. Glavier hardcounters ghost phase, it just does, this is inarguable. Infinite counters on one character means all other characters can just DPS the boss without worrying about the ghost. Artillerist is really just to bait grabs with Z and it hardcounters almost all Vykas mechanics while DPSing boss. Both classes make the fights easier, and make party finding faster, there is no reason not to do it in my eyes, and I think everyone should start reserving slots for these two classes. In my eyes with the current content they are more important to survival than supports. You are fine to disagree with my last 2 statements here, I wouldn’t blame you for doing so as those are just my opinions.

  3. Gatekeeping ping is something that will never happen in the game, if they won’t add a DPS meter, they will never add a ping check.

So let me sum up this entire thing for you, “Hello my name is DQ007 and I think gatekeeping is evil, yet I do it on players whom are not glavier/art players. I will lie and exaggerate about it to get my point across and hopefully win a debate.”

It’s pretty sad that you don’t see the hypocrisy in what you do.

Soo you are just talking to yourself, good troll. I have one question: Do you think every Party is gatekeeping because they want a support in each party? I personally don’t. Personal preferences on class setup is something that is done in every game. I also have never said that gatekeeping is evil, im pretty sure my exact wording was “whatever helps you sleep at night”. I simply said it is unnecessary and makes 0 sense seeing as current gatekeeping only checks things that are irrelevant to success.

But seeing as you have yet to provide a single counterpoint to anything, and have gone out of your way to attack others while never actually reading anything anyone says, it is very obvious you are stubborn, set in your ways, and refuse to see others views.

I figured, actual NPC. Not only has everything you have asked been answered in one way or another, you have yet to do anything but attack other people for their stance without reading their stance.

Your position can be boiled down to “waaa I had a bad experience and want to be able to see people’s ping so I can gatekeep it”. Again, back to the original statement: you can kick and scream all you want, you can even attack others as you have many times so far, but you won’t get what you want.

Go back to bed, and start over.
