System will freeze, then black screen. Fans will run at full speed.
This happens randomly during Vertus Raids. May happen at any time, and possibly multiple times. This possibility has not changed at all since release to now.
When this happens, my PC effectively is completely locked out, with no ability to pull up CTRL+ALT+DEL. My only recourse is to hit the reset button on my PC, re-log into the game, and hopefully be able to load back into the Vertus raid map, at which time I may or may not crash out again.
Especially frustrating for the team as well, as usually I’d use up a revive due to being disconnected and dying to the boss.
I do not encounter any other hard crashes at any other event or time in the game.
I have since proceeded past the ilvl for Vertus, but this may be a pain point for any future alt characters.
