Where does it say that it’s in the game for THIS VERY REASON again? I think I missed that part.
Is it one of your trusted sources again?
" 3. Play fair
Do: play within the rules of the game.
Do not: exploit bugs or other unintended uses of game features."
Every time you kick somebody who doesn’t use Battle Items the way YOU want THEM to use it just remember that you’re breaking Sections 1. , 2. and 3. of Code of Conduct. Surely you can’t complain if you get banned when you’ve broken 60% of CoC, right?
Where is your “info” or “source” on any of the stuff you’re saying? Are you just saying whatever and your source is “trust me bro”? While I’ve linked you 3 sections of CoC so far that you’re breaking. I’m still waiting for you to link me anything where it says you’re allowed to kick for battle item usage.
I think someone already posted, but since i actualy “look for info”, instead of the whole “well there is this statement around but i can’t find it” thing, here you go.
Vote kicking someone who doesn’t use pheromone bombs is against TOS. Posted by an official MOD. I don’t think you have more authority then their TOS, but correct me if i’m wrong of course.
Oh and btw. At the end of the day it DOES NOT MATTER if you agree with CMs or not. Why? Because THEY are the ones ACTUALLY setting/making rules. It doesn’t matter what the feature is inteded for if they explicitly say that you’re NOT allowed to do something and you keep doing it then you can get punished for it. World doesn’t revolve around you where you’re the king and whatever you say others have to do. Keep kicking people like you have been and you’ll end up getting banned soon. Surely you’re gonna appeal then and your appeal will get denied because you were found to be toxic towards the community and abusing a feature in a way that they have STATED NOT TO use it.
Well i actually went searching for the video he mentions about them specifically saying they created kick system to kick non battle item users. Surprisingly, i couldnt find anything. It did seem like a very bold and uninformal thing for a company to say to begin with, but i still gave him the benefit of the doubt xD
What I really hate about this “FPPC” topic is not that I hate battle itmes or organizing – in fact I’m usually the one exclusively using items in 99% of content I do. It’s that there has been no in-game discourse, agreements, organization, or anything on FPPC. A few random forum-goers and redditors just suddenly decided it was the meta “because KR”. I don’t mind it being the meta, but you people aren’t actually doing anything to encourage people using items like this – you’re just lambasting them for not knowing it.
A better way to approach this is to “FPPC?” when you load into a kunge. If no one responds, just eat the loss and equip the items you think most important. I personally just run in with phero+flare+dark always and am pleasantly surprised when others corro or call pheros. Most runs I don’t see people using corro and lots of them I have to double phero. We still clear in sub 4 minutes.
There’s also the fact that our version has many different regions and spans many different languages. It’s pretty naive and unrealistic for everyone to just suddenly understand you or have been communicated properly what the meta is. That’s the whole point of using LFG or finding people to play with. As much as I’d like for people in matchmaking to not be utter shit, expecting more is a waste on your end.
Can confirm. I remember T2 Abyssal dungeon where you have to run in a circle and soak balls. Had some guy who doesn’t know english and he couldn’t understand us when we told him what to do and just said that we’re wrong. I guess his surprise was massive when it turned out we were actually right all along and killed the boss with him dead.
First of all, how do you know that 99% of the playerbase following this rule? I do every day with 3 chars Kungla… and always with randoms. There it happens quit often, that someone dont want to use battle items. I think in around 70% of the games is at least one person and in 30% even 2. So not even close to 99%.
I dont rly care if they dont use them, because its their game and they can play however they like. And like you said, its only 10 gold… so i use them twice. because i want to have it faster.
You must be out of your mind if you want to kick people from matchmaking because u had to run for 30 seconds because of him not throwing a phero. There is no force to use battle items, I personally always throw a phero and I say that in chat no matter what party number I am, but if someone cheaps out in matchmaking, I simply do not care because that’s allowed, you can’t expect people to play like you want or like the ppl in korea.
Another thing, 1% of the playerbase aren’t ruining the game for the remaining 99%, that math does not work because they don’t play with them at the same time, if so they “ruin” the game to a maximum of 3% of the playerbase because there are 4 ppl in 1 raid, not 100. The remaining 96% are playing with each other using battle items. Please close this nonsense and start to enjoy the game instead whining about that 1 out of 100 guy not using a battle item.
If this number were even remotely accurate we would not be having this discussion on the forums where less than 1% of the player base even post. Making up a number to fit your narrative is a horribly weak argument.
You will NEVER be able to enforce these rules on random players. This discussion has been going on since they implemented the item log.
Every single possible argument has already been made a dozen times. If you want to gate keep you need to use the party finder. The Warn/kick feature is intended for removing AFK players or people that are openly griefing. I know for a fact you have probably heard this at least a dozen times now and I’m not really sure why this is so difficult for you to understand. Its a very simple concept.
CMs as well as the CS team have commented on this several times now. If you abuse this and get reported odds are you will be flagged. If you want a perfect run, use the party finder. This is not even something that is open for debate anymore.
1. Treat others the way they wanted to be treated Do: be kind, build fellowship with other players, and be your best, unique self. Do not: engage in behavior that diminish, threaten, bully, insult, abuse, or harass others.
2. Play to enjoy the game Do: value other players for their in-game contributions and activities, and respect their style of play. While we encourage competitive play where appropriate (e.g., player versus player modes), keep it friendly and respectful. Do not: engage in behaviors that reduce or disrupt the enjoyment of the game for others. This includes spamming chat, griefing, throwing matches, boosting, win-trading, trolling, or spoiling the game by sharing unreleased or confidential materials.
3. Play fair Do: play within the rules of the game. Do not: exploit bugs or other unintended uses of game features.
Do not cheat, bot, hack, or use other software or services that give you an unfair advantage through, for example, unattended gameplay or game modifications.
Do not engage in real-money trading of in-game items and in-game currencies.
We reserve the right to determine what constitutes unfair play and to take corrective action we deem appropriate.
Well, you don’t even know half of it. According to him, there are statements made from SMG citing they made the kick system specifically to kick non battle item users
When asked for said statements i got the typical response: I don’t know, its somewhere, search it up
