People defending the VPN ban and voicing TOS have nothing better to do, change my mind

They really don’t

The thing is the community is against bots. They believe that banning vpns will remove at least some bots but by the looks of it, it is clear that the bots found a way around it.
Sadly the only ones who can do anything regarding it is Ags/Smilegate. Start doing ban waves more regularly, hire at least couple of GMs and then they can remove the VPN restriction.
The way its being played out, I highly doubt any of this will happen.

We aren’t defending the ban. We’re against bots. I say the VPN ban is working. It’s not a coincidence that as soon as the ban took effect bots started to ramp up. It’s obvious they’re upset their VPN got blocked.

They got so upset that queues are back and visible bots are still rampant. You’re right.

It’s because the VPN ban affects services which technically doesn’t violate the ToS such as GPN service like Exitlag.

Amazon Games Terms of Service only mentioned do not use technology or techniques to obscure or hide your region.

The true people who have nothing better to do are those who aren’t affected by the VPN ban going around “ToS this” and “ToS that” at affected users when they don’t even know what the ToS entails.

They are just regurgitating some community manager’s words. They could be in the game having fun but instead they are here poking fun at the affected users.

It’s not working though nor has it ever worked. I’ve played a MMO that did the same thing Amazon/SG is doing here and trust me they were never able to fix the problem by blocking VPN use. They reverted it silently after.

You’re also drawing conclusions without knowing that these guys have been in the business for years. A VPN block does nothing to them and they certainly don’t care that Amazon/SG attempted to block. It does however affect tens of thousands of players.

So really all you’re advocating for here is having less real players playing your game. If that’s what you want then so be it.
