Just started playing Lost Ark about a week ago and I really love the game and one thing I enjoy is skins and customizations , so that’s when I come to this . So why is this a thing I have been seeing talked about by many people . I really want to buy this skin that is currently not in the game marketplace but it is in the Auction / Market where players sell items in the game . Supposedly if that player has issued a refund and they put it up in the market / auction , you can get banned for buying that item . Seeing many people complain about this now I am scared I will get banned if I buy it . Can I higher up speak up on this and tell me this is not true ? I understand banning the person who got a refund cause they are basically taking from the devs and from the other player purchasing the item in the market / auction. But banning the buyer that paid with gold in the market / auction for a cosmetic they thought was cool and not have anyway of knowing this is a item that was refunded is so crazy to me . For now I am waiting on a response from a higher up to decide if I can make a purchase to enjoy my experience even more in lost ark cause now I am scared to almost buy anything .

And your stance is not to ensure this would not happen if the party purchasing is unable to know, but basically “we will ban you.”
nice… you can tell a game’s longevity by how support acts… and this is saying a lot.
Right like imagine getting banned for what someone else did … and their is no way to report it to the higher ups in the moment you receive that item . It’s such a sneaky way to get banned and I never heard of such a thing . Also been hearing the support has been very bad in this game . People that have this issue have been dealing with no response to their issue on this topic .

With all due respect, they aren’t banned nor seeking an appeal. They are asking if it is safe to purchase through the in-game market-board as this is by far an internal issue itself and an issue a lot of users have faced – which is simply using the game as intended and unknowingly buying items another user charged back and then the person who bought it receives the punishment, which is always a permanent ban.
Personally, I am with the OP, I don’t feel safe buying skins off the market-board and neither do others.
The issue has been very quiet, with hardly a peep from staff other than they were working on it and working with Amazon support to better handle the tickets; but as it stands, a lot of people remain banned and punished for actions that weren’t even theirs and are being ignored.
