Tbh, they have been much more generous with pheons lately.
Just saving past month and some remaining ones I had from other events, I cut 7/7 stone for my bard, sorc and wardancer. Bard and wardancer only have 1 missing relic acc as I havent seen it up yet or they get bought before I can login and I’m keeping those pheons for them. Sorc with her 100k+ cost accs is a different wip lol.
I also must say I used pheons on other alts that will not grab gold from legions with a basic 4×3 previously so is not like I had pheons stockpiled.
And that’s the thing, getting to 1370 and getting Legendary accessories to get a 4x3 makes a class fun to play
And those accessories can carry you until Vykas HM, which is impressive
I don’t find it a waste to gear up alts when I play them and have fun, that’s the whole point of the game lol
Also too real talk the game is designed to give you free stuff at the start and when you run out they encourage you to save time and buy or save money and farm
Plus double real talk I wonder if the plethora of pheons was a bandaid to help the growing BC prices for a bit
Exactly! Plus it ruins AH for players by robbing the value from the items they are trying to sell. Instead of making money the system is taking the profit…

That’s not even accounting for the MULTIPLE events we had in those 2-3 months that could be collected weekly so it could of likely been close to 200 if not 300 pheons…

Didn’t buy a single legendary accessory with pheons. Used them all up cutting stones. Spent another 140k gold buying pheons to cut more stones. Yeah its pretty bad system.

i really dont mind the pheons but if they will not change how you buy it ill continue to bump the threads regarding to pheons change it where player have an option to buy directly using RC or Gold
Its the same has using fomo it just words to disregard any conversation. The west is entitled, they have too much fomo, why arn’t they grateful, the game is free to pay play for god sake etc etc.
Why won’t anyone think of the programmers and devs with 10 wives 30 husbands and 50 kids who are just making this game out of the pureness of their hearts they need to eat too. Its the reason why we need pheons .
I have one question to you? Tell me another MMO with such system?? The main function of this system is to milk players and then fighting market inflation. Probably it’s working with big korean market economy, but with the small west one is more then terrible and expensive. Do you find for normal, pheons to be need it for RNG system as cutting stones or for the accessories transfer between alts? This is bordeline with scam practice. I am curious how this system was allowed in Netherland.
Ive not played another game in 20+ years that requires a cash shop item to purchase gear to level your character on top of a gold tax. Its literally a tax for the tax.

Because the devs of this game decided it was a good idea to tie a resource as important as pheons which you need to progress to people actually having to spend irl money for said resource to exist.No ppl converting crystal=no pheons.
Game design wise.It’s a stupid obvious flaw in the system that can easily crumble if ppl buy rmt gold or sell costumes for gold instead of converting…oh wait.That’s exactly whats happening.
Legit if they want money they should dump the backlog of costumes,mounts and put stuff in the ingame shop that’s actually worth buying.It worked for blackdesert where pheons weren’t a thing and it can work here.
Pheons is a big income to ags they aint goin to remove them but to satisfy thr playerbase they could adjust the pheon cost of t3 relics to 15 t3 leggys to 9 t3 purple and blues to 0 (so they sell actually to PLAYERs and not become useless overall), remove pheon cost to 0 on any kind of stone
for god sake etc etc.
