Players that have a negative pheon balance resulting from the latest patch are now unable to buy auction house items, which have a 0 Pheon cost like Tier 1 Accessories.
This will at the very least impact bussing, as buyers with negative pheons will be unable to buy.
In the worst case scenario this will prevent a new player in T1 from interacting with the gear-market entirely.

This was just a forced gold expenditure. You spent 95 Pheons where all of it was supposedly free, but you are now forced to pay that gold price after they account for “fairness” so technically you didn’t really lose anything aside from a moment of inconvenience as you were encourage to spend those 95 Pheons on tripods before the update dropped or on RNG stones.
On the bright side, apparently Blue crystal prices are dropping due to the golden toad so it’s at least a bit cheaper to buy them now to restore your Pheon balance than yesterday.
