I have spent a few hundred on the game already, mostly for skins etc, I will not buy another thing until this is address properly, this player has spent an insane amount of time and money to support your business and you have flat out kicked him out, if it was bricks and mortor business you wouldn’t do that. (I literally tried to come up with a comparison where this would happen but its so insane I couldn’t think of any, a real world business would be put out to dry so quick, just beacuse its online doesn’t mean ethics get thrown out too)
@Roxx We understand that players can get banned by systems unentended but to setup a business that allows such wealth to be spent without the proper support is hardly ethical. Is this how a massive company like Amazon acts?

Edit: serously so pissed at this for you, it must be so frustrating to be banned and invested so much just to be given a bot. customer service is dead and gone., if your going to rely on bots to do everything at least have a system they flaggs accounts once a certain amount is spend/timeplayed signifying proper investgation and support is needed.
If his account was 3 days old Id be more understanding but this is plain disgusting.
Hey OP, did you use a macro or something to anti afk? People have been banned for using anti afk macros to not log out the game. Also if you really did nothing wrong and feel this was unjustified just charge back your purchases through your bank?
But this is amazon, and they’ve said the same thing about new world, where they also banned people for no reason, and we know for a fact they lied about not doing automatic bans there… And the support is literally just the same. Some of the people have been unbanned after the unwarranted bans though…even though receiving support replies that they’re staying banned, or complete radio silence, they log in after a few days and all is normal.

Hate to play devils advocate but looking through your hours and achievements it’s very possible that you did in fact bot or macro some activities, also regardless of how many legit purchases you made in game that doesn’t invalidate the fact that you could have potentially also purchased or sold gold or other game items breaching RMT rules regardless of what you “guarantee us”. Either way this is a big thread and I’m sure a community manager will look into it and justice will be served either way whether you are innocent or not.
A friend of mine recently got banned as well, without a doubt in my mind he was banned unjustly, after spending his time leveling slowly and getting most Adventure Tomes to 70% he was banned just as he got into Tier 1, the only responses he gets are cookie cutter automated ones that have no intention of figuring out whether or not the ban was justified.
It is truly concerning how these random bans have been around since New World and is now happening in Lost Ark.
There has been many cases where people have reported unjustified bans for the past weeks, and it has dramatically increased since yesterday 02/28, which is also the same day my friend was banned. (Hours after the Mari server issues where characters were stuck in limbo, he was one of them)
For the people assuming these bans were justified because they simply “broke the rules” by buying gold or botting, please take your time to look around, because yes, some of them have broken the rules and are trying to weasel their way out of it, but a handful (maybe way more) simply got shafted due the a companies incompetence and lack of empathy towards the players by sending out cookie cutter emails and not disclosing the detailed reasoning behind their bans aside from their vague “code of conduct: cheating”
Hopefully Amazon acknowledges their system is broken.
P.S No, he did not use AFK macro’s because Mari doesn’t really have queue times. maybe 10mins at most on fridays.
We see similar posts of people pretending to have been banned unjustly in every single MMO after there has been a ban wave. Very, very rarely, in my experience, are they applied by mistake.
How much money you spent speaks nothing of your character, and I don’t know why people keep using that as some sort of ‘evidence’ of their lack of guilt.
However, I do wish Amazon provided more detailed, specific reasons for their bans. GL ![]()

Folks can submit appeals if they think they’ve been falsely banned, but in the meantime we’re also launching some investigations as these reports increase. If you are able to send over Steam IDs to my direct messages, that may help us look into this, however I cannot at this time guarantee that your ban will be reversed (This is because I am not on the CS team, I cannot look into player accounts and I do not have the tools to make any changes, and I am just assisting in investigating player concerns)

it looks like due to gold sellers sending people shady bits of mail its triggering RMT on there accounts. if they accept the gold or if they send large amounts of gold to guildies.
Just makes us very scared as player to help one another out… iv got about 80k gold i want to help poeple out who are stuck in tier 2 or setup friendly loans for people but with no clarification on these false bans i do not wish to risk my account.
We ideally would love some customer service it seems your CM team is the only active group of people who seem to care about its community. The CS team really need to spend less time auto responding an more time actually reading appeals. Im not even sure anyone on the CS team actively plays the game maybe some feedback for them, maybe thats there way to upskill actually get them to play an understand the games mechanics so they are not so trigger happy in just banning good players.
Specially one like BCM, who had the unforgiveable task of looking after about 350 of his guildies organising raid groups by himself i could never imagine someone like himself genuinely doing something wrong.
I know the team is focusing on “nerfing” content which is disheartening to hear but maybe the focus gets shifted to removing the actual bots and not the players.

Vac banned for goldselling here too, and they claim its justified, i do spend money myself to buy crystals and gold, i dont even have gold to sell. this is nuts
