Permanently Banned for 1v3ing in Team Elimination Arena (Now Unbanned)

I was reluctant to post here since I didn’t think it would make any difference but after reading other topics on here specifically this one Mass Report Perma Ban for "Camping" a PVP Island
I thought I’d share my experience with mass reporting.

On the 1st of March I decided to do Team Elimination in Arena for the weekly una’s task,
I queued into Team Elimination since I’d thought I would give it a try since only previously doing Deathmatch or whatever for the weekly.
I picked First position every time and 1v3’d the entire team and got this achievement

I liked it so much I continued doing it, I went on a 6 win streak of 1v3ing the enemy team.

On my 2nd game I ran into a salty Individual who was whining about how overpowered Deathblade was talking in say Inside the arena during the match after he went first.
on my 5th and 6th game of my 6 win streak I saw the same player again, on my 5th game he was trashtalking etc, the usual, I just Ignored him and didn’t say a single word to him inside the Arena I just went about playing the game.

On the 6th game when I saw him for the 3rd and final time he explicitly said he was going to report me with his friends to get me banned, again I ignored him and completed the match.

After the 6th match, the guy made a character on my server to message me in-game, trash talking me and telling me how he was going to get all of his guildies and friends to make character on my server to mass report me for anything (I don’t know what category they picked) about 10 minutes of trying to talk to this guy trying to calm him down, I got banned permanently because I’m guessing he did what he said and got his friends and guildmates to mass report my account, I never Insulted him or used foul language and wasn’t rude to this guy at all before people say I got banned for the whispers.

This game truly is turning into New World if I can’t play Arena without the fear of getting banned.

Edit: I haven’t received any e-mail why I got banned or any response since my appeal on the 1st of March except the basic e-mails of amazon receiving my appeal and the same e-mails the guy in the linked topic got when speaking to live support.

Yes this autobann system is a joke. It gets abused all the time, it needs to be disabled.
Thats why i never talk in Chat or do any other interactions with other players, besides normal matchmaking.

I agreed Nery PVP sadly has a tendency to go very bad very quickly, I do not believe that ppl should be banned without an investigation internally as a person and his mates can make up any story and mods take it as gospe;l

I also see this as highly dangerous. Practically, the player is given tools to ban other players from the game, mostly without reason. It is obvious that such a system is exploited. If I lose to you, I’ll make sure that you don’t get into the game anymore. Very, very dangerous and not conducive to a common game, simply out of fear that another might feel left out or insulted.

But much worse is that the procedure afterwards is hardly manageable because the support is either not familiar with it or you are fobbed off with standardized phrases.

In a pvp setting where everyone is equalized in terms of stats, you are so skilled that you went into arenas 1v3 for the first time and won 6 straight games, and one of the guys was so salty he got his entire guild of toxic people to report you, and within 10 minutes you got permabanned?

If that happened to you, I’m truly sorry, but maybe you need to add more detail about how you won 6 1v3s on your first try. Because it’s a lot easier to believe you were winning because you were using some hacks like the ones we see bots using, and enough people reported you that you got permabanned.

Actually it’s not that hard. Even as someone who has only played the Western release of Lost Ark. I have done it as well.

Most people que up not knowing that much about their class or how to pvp in general.

Don’t get me wrong, I’ve seen people win 1v3’s before too. But his story is that he tried it for the FIRST TIME, liked it, did it 5 more times (against different teams for half of them), and won all of them.

If LA pvp hacks weren’t being advertised alongside videos of people hacking all over youtube, maybe I’d be more inclined to believe OP.

Edit. Not to mention the account replying to the first comment on this thread is a brand new account that only liked and commented on this thread lmao

to be clear this wasn’t the first time I had done any PVP on my Deathblade, as stated in the original post I have been playing Normal Deathmatch and Team Deathmatch for a while before I decided to try my hand at Team Elimination.

No because I’m not the sort of person to screenshot someone trashtalking to post on Reddit or some place to meme on them etc, also I had no clue I was going to get banned since I just figured he was just salty so I didn’t think I needed to post for evidence, I mean the mods must have chat logs so it’ll be all there on my appeal, It’s just unfortunate to “prove” myself on here.

They could actually learn something from you instead of trash talking , I only PvP when I need it for my weekly too and suck at it but I enjoy it even if Iose and try to improve .

Those people who abuse the system and mass report someone need to get punished and banned !

I hope the support respond to your ticket fast and help you out .

thanks but I don’t think it’s going to happen, 15 days and no response, my hopes of getting unbanned have subsided, I’m just going to wait for Ashes of Creation and hope that’s a better experience.

It’s a bit suspicious how you as a new player managed to win 6 matches in a row 1v3. I mean, okay your opponents might have been noobs, but literally to beat alone 3 players they must have stay afk and do nothing.
I can’t say much about PvP because i focused more on PvE, so i am kinda noob at this topic, but still i did a few PvP islands and when i was fighting vs 2 players my HP drained so fast that i couldn’t even react. Not to mention constant stun/freeze/knockback/etc. So it’s kinda hard to believe your story unless you are a supergod in PvP.

But i agree with one thing: AGS support response time is horrible. That will affect the game on the long run. This is one of the reason why i quit WoW (after 8 years of constant playing).

@Roxx , Can someone please from support help this person out , So many false bans because some peoole abuse the report function , This is getting out of hand .

Even if the person is a pro in the game it shouldn’t have been a problem , We have many people here who played on Ru/kr servers , it’s not against the rules .

And by the way im completely new to the game .
