Hi, I was permanently banned yesterday for “Cheating” and this is simple untrue. I am a legitimate player that has over 1000 hours with 7 characters and have spent over $70 on the game. I was banned while doing a guardian raid of Night Fox Yoho.
I have already tried appealing for the ban and was given this email.
Stating my ban was merited but providing no specific reason why, if your appeal team is going to send an email like this at-least provide a reason why I am banned. It’s frustrating trying to get my account back when I know I didn’t actually cheat. Other players have posted on this forum trying to prove their innocence and are met with the same automated email when their appeal is declined. So I have no choice to post on this forum to try to see if anyone can help me get my account unbanned.
Unfortunatelly this is number 2 reason game got blacklisted in few of gamer communities Im part of - you dont get information why you get ban and if you was reported where that happened. In reality you can randomly report everyone everywhere for no reason.
Ofc number 1 is bots.
I was trying to invite some old guild/teammates in LA but they simply says “dude, game is blacklisted”
Sadly this is going around now. All you can really do is keep appealing and hope that you manage to find a support agent that is willing to investigate and not give you a copy pasta response. You can also try live chat but as with the appeals finding someone that is willing to properly elevate matters can be tedious.
Yeah its pretty backwards its ridiculously easy to get banned for super mundane stuff in this game. Meanwhile RMTers/Cheaters/Botters basically get away with murder. They need to get this straight. Its been an issue since the game launched… Actually since before the game launched because they had the exact same systems in New World.
Unfortunately I don’t have a image showcasing my ilvl but I have one showing my level which was 58. Characters ilvl were 1447,1415,1370,1370,1370,1370,1340.
It doesn’t state the reason though which is really scummy of AGS to ban someone without providing a reason. It’s like you randomly getting restrained by the police just for walking down a sidewalk without doing anything wrong.
I have already requested my data. I can also assure you I didn’t cheat, not sure how it’s farfetched to reach those ilvls when I’ve been playing since release with over 1k hours.
It does, its right there in my case it was a commerce lock. Amazon was saying I refunded something I didn’t. Took like a month to proved but my ban was lifted in the end.
I have this problem too, yesterday happened to my previous account, what should I do? I want my right AGS, I did nothing I got 13k gold in one night by 1 phase 3 Argos, 2 hard Abyssal dungeons with my main 1403 and 2 other 1350 alts (2x normal Abyssal dungeons) and sold my Great honor leapstones from night fox yoho and challenge guardian raids which was 3600 gold, I wanted to post like this then I saw your post, I got perma banned with my previous account, I’m not American and I’m playing with Geforce NOW, totally legit
That’s unfortunate hopefully we get our accounts back. I see this happening to quite a lot of people from the amount of posts made on this forum and reddit.
Lol!! I love that all the cheaters flock to each other’s posts on here to circle jerk each other and cry about being illegitimately banned . You got what you deserved, you clearly can’t prove otherwise. Nice job AGS, I’m loving the handling of this game and these cases!
It doesnt have to be a lot a simple auto clicker or macro is actualy not allowed … Those things alone might get u banned even if u yourself think its not cheating … The devs think differently
A lot of innocent people got caught up in this banwave, myself included. I hope Amazon can improve their cheat detection but more importantly, their customer service. It’s quite disappointing to get perma-banned for no reason and when you try to appeal, their replies are just automated and don’t cite anything specific to their claim. I don’t think people will ever know what they were flagged for. Just another false-positive on their end. What’s sad is the forum trolls will just continue to say stuff like “you shouldnt have botted/RMT-ED”. Lol wait til it happens to you and have to go through the BS we innocent players have been through.
I think there might be benefit to those banned if you start listing what hardware you’re using, specifically keyboard and mouse. Do you have any macros setup?
