Just spend 20k gold getting my alt Paladin a 6/6 stone, if pheons didn’t exist it would be 10k, that’s a lot of gold especially for a f2p, the stone cutting system needs improvements as well, if anything in this game will make me quit it’s cutting, at least make it so we can buy some stuff that like protects the next cut from a fail or guarantees a cut with stone dust of the same tier to help, right now because there’s no pity you can sink a fortune in to stones and leave with nothing to show because it feels like utter shite, on TOP of them costing pheons, just make them once tradable problem solved no flipping.

Yeah pheon on stone is a whole scam and their % success rate doesn’t even work.

i used 500 pheons to get my relic stone +7+7 . And its actually 7.5k gold to buy 100 pheons. Meaning 37.5k just to get pheons + between 100-200 gold each stone.
So idk, around 40-45k gold to get one stone +7+7.
When i bought the last 100 pheons i could, i said to myself “if i dont succeed a stone, i quit 100%”.
I got it with 30 pheons left.
But dont worry, Pheons are fine
I feel like there should be a vendor of some sort with a set price and to select the engravings you wish to cut… that or simply remove pheons tied to stones on the mb
If pheons didnt exist it wouldnt be 10k, it would be much more. You can buy the market as a rich player even easier. Pheons are there to stop 1 person from buying the market and it works.
The cheap stones would also rise in price cuz they would all get bought up, dismantled, rerolled and resold

Pheons are there to stop 1 person from buying the market? you can buy pheons for gold, it literally stops nothing, the only reason Pheons exist is to make f2p players interact with the cash shop and giving paying players a way of exchanging for gold, if pheons didn’t exist there wouldn’t be enough crystals to exchange for gold.
oh yeah you right, thats why every mmos of the world without this pheon system always had a garbage market, and everyone left those, to play lost ark with a way better system, protecting the poor from the rich.

You dismantle a stone and you cN use the parts to roll a new one… and when you roll a new one you can sell it…so you can technically resell them especially when u can buy them for 10 gold currently

If they removed pheons the prices won’t go up equivalent of pheons, it will go up but not that much, they’re inflated beyond what they’re worth because of pheons right now, especially for lower price items like cheap stones and accessories.
As for stones, you need to dismantle like 10 to get 1 random stone and that’s at the current price, the chances of getting something worth selling from that are really low, and the prices will go up to where it quickly isn’t worth before stabilising, as i said, if people want to do that let them it won’t be bad in the long run.
Alternatively if you can send stone to alt without pheon that will also solve the market inflated price issue. The whole concept of pheons is to force not only reduce market manipulation but also gold inflation as it force people turning their gold to crystal.
Im fine with pheon for accessory but no way for the casino rock.
