I had to mute the SFX just because of how high pitched and how ofter we use it, more than even our basic skills, otherwise I’d probably just stop playing.
I was about to make a post about it, but I’m glad this matter has already been brought up.

Yea I just had to google to see if we could disable it and found this post lol
Would be nice to either have a slider for it at the very least so I can tone it down some… or an option to completely turn if off.

The whistling is killing me.
I thought the wait was over when I heard about the hoverboard mount but nope gotta whistle for that too! 
It wouldn’t be too bad if it was a decent whistle.
But like most of the sfx in the game, I think they’re all done by the one person (who can’t get a good note out for a whistle apparently 
)
I think this is the only game I’ve played in a long long time where animal noise etc. all sound like they were done by some guy at a mic going moooo and oink … etc
please please please please! Just the horse whistle sound. I would rather play this game entirely muted or not at all if I have to hear this abhorrent sound 8000x per session. It’s DRIVING ME MAD!!!
Completely agree. I am playing on mute most of the time because of this whistle…
Also, the slight delay of the whistling! You should just be able to pop right on your mount with no issue.
Please SmileGate, this is so annoying for people with sensitive hearing…
I also have to play with muted SFX because of this
Y’all don’t understand, every time I use my mount I have a 60 lb dog jump on top of me thinking I’m calling her… please add a way to disable it…

Yes! I came here and signed up just to say how annoying the whistle is, lets us disable it!
The horse whistle and that long “ding” sound every time you walk into a new area that causes the “new area message” to pop up, which can happen dozens of times while running through a single zone

Yeah, the whistle is annoying, as is the transform delay. Makes me feel like summoning the mount is slower than not sometimes.
