We been talking on our guild discord and our theory is the hotfix did not work so they are having to go through the databases and clean them up manually, which is why its taking so long.
Cause its launch…
Opening up a server system that’s going to get hit by over a million folks isn’t something one just blinks into existence it requires work and downtime.
This trully amazes me. It’s incredible how Amazon can fuck up things, really.

I have been to quite many MMO launches myself. Wildstar, WoW Legion, BnS etc. Realistically, what you expect from an MMO launch is big queue’s and sometimes lag and rarely disconnections. But here, that is not the case, because servers aren’t even online. Basically, there is no launch to begin with.

I’m confused. Isn’t this game already available in EU/Asia? For like years now? Russian version, VO version…not understanding why you aren’t playing on those servers or why there even made more EU servers to begin with. They already established over there.

I mean, no offense…but whoever on your team had the brilliant idea to bring a patch before Release to fix some small meaningless bugs nobody cares about which then results in the game being probably 10+ hours down should just straight up be fired.
Also still no ETA probably means many more hours so for working EU players the game was not accessible for a whole day.

I’m not even sure how a hotfix can bring servers down for 10 hours. Like they were perfectly fine yesterday.
And you are correct. it was just such a huge mistake to do hotfix before the release and right before the release.
When do u expect to solve problems like the problem with founder pack? They need to do a maintenance for more stuff so they will do all in one. Its not smart to do 2 maintenances when u can do it in one
Any information about if they estimate the launch to be today or tomorrow ?
The reason is simple. Update is not working and Amazon has to wait for the devs in Korea to wake up to fix it. Amazon is just the Publisher. They dont modify the client, they dont fix stuff, they just do marketing, support, community management and this stuff. Korean Devs wont be at the office for another hour so downtime will be a few more hours.

I dont know how they check people with founder pack problem but i think is easy to do it with 500k player database than 2 million…
