I do not know what harm could do a reward for those who are spenders on the game and supporting both companies. It is a win win situation. AGS/SG still gets their money and the players are willing to spend more because they have checkmarks if they hit certain amount of points accumulated whilst now it looks like you are just grabbing the money and looking in another direction. It is one of the features that surprised me the most not being on the game given the situation that monetary progression is already inside the game. It would drive more sales, and incentive people to actually invest on the game.

so i dont understand something. you are perfectly fine with the way yoz’s jar works and are excited to bring it over to our version. but are not happy with the way mileage shop works and so no plan to bring it over?
with that logic, im assuming we have minimal chance of having any sort of rebate feature for ourselves in the game for the money we spend right?

Mileage shop is something that rewards you for spending.
Selling amethyst shards for crystals would be straight up spending money directly on the items, rather than getting them as a bonus…
There are like 2-3 achievements that give a good chunk. Then it’s pretty much done. 500 a month for twitch prime, and some twitch drops like once a month or so.
You have to spend money anyways to get your twitch prime
The way you can get Amethyst is the worst shit ever created

Anyway to get more shards? Been saving for the dang emote packs since launch… still don’t have it, haven’t bought anything. I can’t imagine what it’ll be like wanting to get a skin. 23 years at this point…

I believed having the Mileage Points will prevent or make those RMT’er think twice. You just need to place items that can only be bougt by Mileage Points (of course, items that doesnt have advantage to any player; i.e. Mileage Exclusive Skins/Costume/Pets/Mounts etc)

Any plans to add previously missed amethyst shard and other cosmetic rewards in the shop for Royal Crystals or whatever? I missed a couple at the very start of the game and now I have no way to catch up to those who did get them.
They want to monetize twitch drops to get ad revenue duh
They have to double dip it seems. Not only do they hope people buy from cash shop but also amazon prime.
Extremely happy to not have the mileage shop here. Locking cosmetics behind spending thousands of dollars is absolutely disgusting. A rewards card program for swiping…
And because mileage isn’t here, that means the cosmetics which are locked inside of it can be obtained by real people using realistic methods when/if they finally do come here.

Unfortunately, the Amethyst shard system is horrible and slow. You can’t “grind” them because they’re only given once in a blue moon. Also, if you throw these top tier pets and outfits in the Amethyst shop, they will take months and months to get. The controlled distribution of Amethyst shards is pretty bad and only puts a cap on potential revenue the game can generate. Legitimate whales feel shafted. 
You’re the minority that thinks this. You already have amethyst shards as a ‘f2p’ method of obtaining cosmetics. Mileage shop could be an incentive for spenders to spend with amazon.
I don’t see or understand why they can’t co-exist as it’s overall a win-win-win for f2p-p2w-amazon.
if AGS implemented a mileage shop, folks will then complain that it’s pay to win.
