The golden frog event has done absolute wonders for the western region as a whole. It’s made material cost go down, allowing people to hone further. It’s made engraving books go down, which allows people to fully gear the characters they’d been trying to for so long. And lastly, it’s dropped the price of BC region wide.
However, with Brelshaza slated to come out when the Frog is slated to end, we run the risk of a few things ruining this.

Summoner. With a new class being released, this means more demand for accessories (pheons → Blue Crystals). With supply of BC remaining relatively the same, an influx of demand would increase the BC cost dramtically.

An extension of summoner, means more ability stones will be sold, which also means an influx of needed pheons and Blue Crystals

Bracelets. Since we have a new accessory slow that people will surely rush to get, it’s 15 pheons per try if I remember correctly. A further pheon/BC sink.

Engraving Books. With the supply gone from the golden frog event, it will gradually become harder to gear characters, so those who didn’t quite make the cut run the risk of being left behind again.
I’m not asking for us to keep frog forever, but I am asking for an extension for 2-4 weeks. Why do I think an extension will help? Mainly, because it keeps the gold sink in the game. This gold sink has been directly proven to be a viable alternative to inflation. With the new bot measures that Amazon has ready to roll out with Brel, keeping the frog event for a few extra weeks could get our economy to an even more serviceable level.
Secondly, it will allow Summoners the same chance that Reapers had. When Reaper was released, it came at the absolute perfect time. Golden Frog pumped both class books in the market and prevented them from being sold at absurdly high prices. This would help all the summoner mains greatly, and let’s face it, Summoners have been completely neglected. From being a poster class of the game, in the beta, and scrapped at launched, to now being the last class released of the originals. This would be welcome for the economy, as well as for summoner mains in general.
Thirdly, it still benefits every single person. Engraving books are cheaper, leg selector packs can be gamba’d, and there is a gold sink preventing a region like NAW from reaching 4k BC again (I play on NAW so I’m not familiar with other region prices, but I know BC is done across the board).
TLDR: I think brel launch is the worst time to remove the golden frog event, because of many economical impacts. Extending it 2-4 weeks for when the Brel hype dies down, would be best for the economy.
