Please do something about the support

Hello,

SO basically the issue is that I purchased by mistake from Yorn Wandering Merchant 6 extra Back Alley Rums (for all my left silver), and becoming aware that I made a mistake when I saw all my silver is gone I decided to submit a ticket to support having high hopes for a refund as this is not an extraordinary problem.

First of all, there is no way you can check your submited tickets on the amazongames page.

Secondly, there is no mail being sent to the person opening the ticket, you have no clue if the ticket was opened, if it’s being processed or whatever.

Thirdly, the response I got was very generic and very unhelpful that they can’t refund my silver, not giving a reason, nothing… I don’t think it’s such a big deal to just forward the said ticket to AGS and I dont think players in KR are treated this way…

In my honest opinion this is a very very poor handling of the customers and considering there are other issues at the moment with the game, I’m left with just a big disappointment and I will probably just leave this game.

Cheers!

Well yeah… it was your mistake and its just… silver

Hello bogdandamarisrebeca, since your thread is in English, I’m moving it from the French “Game Feedback” section to the English one.

I think those are the 1mil silver each items. There’s nothing they can do to get you that silver back it has nothing to do with support. In the long run 7mil silver is nothing huge, but that’s up to you to decide.

It was your dumb mistake. Own it and move on. I made a mistake recently that cost me 10k gold. No point whining about it, own it, learn for the future and move on.

Great community right there!

I’m giving you the actual answer, there’s nothing they can do about it, I’m not giving you grief or anything. It has nothing to do with support being good or bad, if it was a genuine support issue I’d tell you how trash they are in 95% of cases, but it’s not. I’ve done the same thing (I only bought an extra 1 but same concept). If you keep playing you’ll never notice that silver after awhile.

Sadly it’s a mistake anyone can make. I accidently donated 100 gold to a guild because I pressed the wrong button. Not going to get it back. Learn from your mistakes as we all do.

This is how “got you” games work. They are not here to build a good and balanced game environment. They set up all sorts of traps where things like this can happen so players make mistakes they can not take back. Wait till they switch the buy item and add item button for 1 time only tradeable items. Like for engravings

Oh, yes. It’s dev’s fault you don’t pay attention to what you are doing. Totally. It’s also devs fault i bought accesory with 5x class engraving and 3xkbw, not the other way as i needed, making me waste 10k gold. IT"S THOSE PESKY DEVS, THEY MUST HAVE SWITCHED UP THE ENGRAVINGS AFTER I BOUGHT THEM. /S

You are human, humans make mistakes. Deal with it. Nobody, including support, has any obligation to baby you. The default value for purchasing any item from merchant is 1. You have to go out of your way to change it, which OP certainly did. It’'s on him.

If its the PLAYER ERROR = No Refund

If its the GAME ERROR = COMPENSATION

The question now is, are you the PLAYER or the GAME?

It’s 2023, he might identify as a game and we are not allowed to question it…

Its sad the post is about the problems with the ticket support system and everyone is focused on the silver.

Agreed their ticket system is very unfriendly and IF you ever get an answer its very copy/paste.
AGS has turned out to be the most customer unsupportive company I have ever played a game with. The ticket system is terrible, the forums can be helpful if you get a moderator that is communicative instead of copy/paste. But even here big issues don’t get resolved. Really the only time I see anything get fixed is when Roxx steps in.

If they fixed the ticket system and made it more user friendly then actually provided support staff. It’s possibly AGS could be a good gaming company. But that would require them to care about people first.
