I was so furious so kinda carried way and wrote too long so TL;DR:

Game on t3 content is really overwhelming and pressuring the player with the tons of stuff to do. Please reconsider it and actually listen community. Don’t fail like New World and listen before losing 830k current users like them to learn to listen.

I hate forums and I don’t like writing it but I really have to do it as a player so you can MAYBE understand what a newcomer can feel like.

I’ve wanted to play Lost Ark for so long that went to the Russian server and saw that I really would like to dedicate myself to this game and stop playing even before reaching max level and waited for the Western release.

Finally it comes and I love min maxing and actually search the game’s mechanics so I’ve been dug into videos like watched 30+ hours guides about every single thing, podcasts, tierlists, written guides even bought VPN to log in the Russian server and I was grinding and try to understand the mechanics etc but thanks a lot you ruined them all.

MMO games in fundamentally complex games that has tons of mechanics, gimmicks, game play alternatives, classes, builds, contents that we players that sunk into and try to figure out the best of those, exploring etc etc. But yea lost ark already been out for more than 3 years people already know what to do when to do tons of guides, tierlists, metas etc. right? But the thing is if I had to learn stuff that you throw on my face from guides why I would even bother playing your game?

There are already tons of stuff that overwhelm me as 32 years old nerd that played MMOs for more than 17 years. Housing, tons of class, grinds, dungeons, item optimization, and so on. Even till level 40 I had no how the stronghold really works, how exactly where can I learn stupid recipes of even is there a pre stuff that I need to do, I have no idea if I even want to keep playing as gunslinger I mean the game itself on russian server cause it’s on tier 3 content that lots of stuff is not really important anymore but I do not freaking now it and I am playing with stupid google translation!

So if the game comes like this even a player that likes hardcore mentality, loves minmaxing, loves explore every single little detail in game and be actually turned into game wiki I GOT OVERWHELMED. So what do you think how casual players look at the game? How other player wanted to play it look at the game? Do you think they want spend hours of guides to actually learn how the F progress through the new continents? Do you think they will know they actually don’t need to be 60 to access first dungeons? WE NEED TO EXPERIENCE IT WITH TIME GATED PATCHES. I do not have to know every single thing about the game, I do not have to check the game’s guides outside. How can you so stupid that you are able to even succeed to fail what has been already succeed it is really incredible. True game direction right here salute.

We players have already showed New World that if the you guys, YES YOU TIN FOILED PEOPLE, YOU, if you can actually listen the feedback you can make the game better who the F actually cares what New World does at the moment. Who? You already lost 830k current player count after the launch and what is the real point of making a decision like this? Give us less content, don’t make us feel like I need to get 1300 gear score, don’t make us feel like we need to grind the shit out of the game so we can “ready” when you give us raids, don’t make us rush the game, don’t make us overwhelmed with the game. Please. God please don’t do it.

Majority of people does not really want to spend all of their spare time, vocations, sick days on MMO’s atm so that MMO is not a trend anymore and you releasing this masterpiece in such state that like you are saying that you are new museum that bought Mona Lisa from Louvre but on gala day you showing it with shit on it. Actually shit that someone intentionally put it on Mona Lisa and it’s gross, it’s sick.

So please make players actually experience the tier 1 stuff with knowing that is the thing know so I don’t have to rush it. I can chill, I can relax, go voyage with my ship, do regular daily stuff, level some alts, change new class, try pvp, try literally stay in the stupid capital city cause I did every single daily chorus so I can just sit back and go in game shop get myself a new avatar and look at my gunlancer how beefy or check my sorcerer how sexy etc.

You won’t lose player count if stupid hardcore players like myself crying about there is no content in game. But you will lose it if you overwhelm the casual players and actually do the hard thing and fail on what have been succeed and be the first game company that achieve that (also you are the guys that released Crucible and actually removed it and put it on dev state again so you have no idea what you do clearly). So please whoever responsible of stupid lost ark content schedule go and play on russia or Korean server make a fresh char. If you know the game find someone casual and make him/her play and observe. So maybe you can understand it.

I do not care if you actually read it or not but I would just simply refund my plat pack go play PoE’s new season and chill there. I don’t have a thing to gain with your failure. But I want to finally play this stupid game in English, without VPN and shit. So fix yourself.

Who is pressuring you to do what? No seriously people come with the too much content argument complaining they are casual. But if you aren’t making any world first race you shouldn’t be concerned, you would be going on your own pace of picking mokoko seeds or whatever.
The content is there, everyone will have to do it anyway so you won’t be left behind. If anything is the hardcore player that might suffer to find groups for T3 content given they are way ahead compared to the general population.

And funny you mention New World, you know what killed new world? Sequence of gamebreaking bugs and LACK OF content.

This right here is a great feedback. I hope they listen.
A lot of people think it’s whining and complains.
In reality, most of us “care” and wants the game to succeed here in NA/EU.

What I get out of this is you would like something that can guide you in what to do at what stage that won’t take 30h to learn how to play the game? I also struggled in Russian but I’m thinking when it’s English the game will teach me what to do through quests right? …. If not how about there are quests to walk one through building a strong hold upgrading gear and stuff. I loved how New world had quests to make me go somewhere to mine stone and ore, then I had to process it for the quest, it taught me how to play! I assume lost ark has that too… I just haven’t gotten that far in Russia yet

I do like how you compare NW to t3 LA when NW had almost 0 end game content and now you’re complaining t3 is too much.

New World players already paid. There is no monthly sub required from them. Then Amazon economically benefits from players not playing and servers can be merged. Reduction of infrastructure cost is great for business.

MMO for which everyone pays at day one tons of money, but stops playing very fast is great business model. In financial department, NW is success.

That isn’t quite right. Amazon does request changes to be made. They have stated as such about changes they have requested to be made to the game. The censorship is the best example of this. They have an entire friggin article about it on the site.

That being said… going by the last LOA ON and things the main dude over at smile gate was saying I do believe this T3 push would have mainly been from them.

Do You realize that Amazon requests those changes? Or do you think SG made extra effort to remove Korean VO and decided to deliver to west naming restriction much more brutal than in Russia and Korea?

Then community backlash results in return of Korean VO. Maybe we may even get Normal Western naming scheme. But if people stay quiet, it will not get better. Stay quiet about problems and it will be worse.

SG released game where players can use 3 different character sets in name and numbers. (Korean, English, Cyrillic.)
SG release in Russia influenced by mail.ru can do same with restriction on number of capitals in name.
What makes you think that SG decided to gut us same way as Amazon did gut NW naming when you see quite some naming freedom in other regions?

When January post comment read “with SG”, it was clear attempt to shift potential blame which was to come. And have community fight over who is the bad guy. (But result is same. We players in west are ones who are getting inferior experience. And we are ones being asked to bend over for no good reason.)

Game had the same “Censorship” changes on KR even from what i saw… Id be honestly surprised if it was actually true just for na… and even saw a yellow post saying the same skimpy outfits were still in game… just not front and center.

Besides… the new replacements look better.

No, those censorship changes aren’t on KR. Besides your opinions and “Conspiracy” again… I say AGAIN… Amazon has an Article, on their own website they put up. You can bury your head as far up your butt as you wish or you can read their own words.

Look… Guy. The point is that Amazon can request changes to the game and have some changes done for “Westernization”. That’s it. That’s the only point coming at you here.

Drowning man will give you anything for letting him on your raft. But T3 content is not as big of an issue as its effect on economy.
Then with T3, not giving people all classes is clearly part of monetization scheme. People who want to main unreleased character will not be happy as they have to do heavy investment into one for T3. But there will be little helping hand for them later, just a few dollars here and there… little whale hook.

Now theres tons more islands and quests to complete.
I feel like the amount of things i have to do has been doubled…

Staying at T1-2 for 1-2months would have been so awesome, time to create alts etc…now i feel im not gonna have much time on my hands…

Koreans have also noticed the completely revamp of some outfits and even the retexturing/recoloring of a huge amount of NPCs from the Asian continent Anich and the rest of the game:

Original outfits have not been removed, they are just not as front and center and we have added in additional options for players

You have a link to the Amazon post that they say they are changing the game just for us to Censor the game ? I can’t seem to find it ? If im wrong im wrong, just curious tbh

I feel like I’m talking to an Alien who is trying to understand human communication for their first time… It was an example, of how AGS can request changes… It wasn’t a topic of agreeing or disagreeing with the change they made.
