Please educate me - what reason is there to delay content ( Valtan, etc )

cause way more people aren’t ready than are… 10% of the people have a 1300 char… I’m sure if you look at people at 1370 that’s gonna be like 3% and over 1400 will be like .5%. They’re just looking at data we don’t have access to. People who’ve put in that much time will wait another 3 weeks whereas someone who’s just finishing t2 will say fuck it I’m done I can’t keep up and way more of them.

Yep no reasons to delay contents, or no reasons to wait for late players. They will catch up at some point or just give up

See yes, as I mentioned, if you want to make the gold from the first sales you should ( in my opinion ) put the work in to be 1415/1445 now. ( Okay, the former, not the latter )

and that’s the point they don’t want people leaving cause they can’t keep up, way more of them than people running p3 argos

That is Steam Achievements being bugged because it takes the number from 1.3 Million and also the bots. Thought I’ll put that out there.

This doesnt mean anything, this doesnt separate active players to people who picked up the game and quit. It literally means nothing and its not conclusive to anything.

Why release content that no one can play lmao

If you’re going to do it that way, they might as well just make horizontal content since that’s where most of the playerbase is.

This is how it works in KR too. They even released too much content in KR that people were feeling like they needed to pay there and they said it wouldn’t happen again and this year will be more dedicated to reworks rather than vertical content…

Some people could play it. And where is the harm in YOUR OPINION done to the players that cannot access it? Please read the entire post.

Bots are hitting T3 and inflate this number to be even higher than what’s shown.

Again, this inflates the number of people who achieved this, not deflates. So you are only further making my point.

So the number shown here

is actually a lot lower than 4.2% for 1302 according to this logic if we take out inactive players and bots.

It was nearly impossible to do Argos in week 1 if you didnt pay real life money and its a bad image to get as a company that only people who play real life money are only able to access the content.

As a player myself I feel that people who swiped for week 1 Argos actually lost as I was able to sell mats for insane profit.

In the end the public image is the most important.

The content being released is PERMANENT. People don’t get that, all these people that complained about Argos can’t understand that apparently.

And as of today, a few weeks later, I see like 15+ different groups from p1 to p3 looking for players.

So all they did was make people that are ahead wait for the snowflakes that seem to have never played an MMO wait for them, so they can run argos p1 on 1 character while the guys they are being delayed already have multiple 1370-1400 characters are still ahead by miles anyways.

anyone who is still in 1340-1370 either play late or just decided to sell their mats, anyone whos still not in 1370 should be really close and would still be 1415 if not nearly close by valtan release. if they played late they cant really expect to be where those who played early are at now

1370 has to be less than 1%. Granted in a game with 10,000,000 players that still means roughly 100,000 players above 1370 which feels super populated…

People love to shout 1% without an ounce of actual knowledge about numbers, all they have are bugged steam achievements.

How long till it’s 2%? Brelshaza maybe?

why do I have to be motivated to evolve since my evolution won’t get me anywhere, because AGS doesn’t want to release content just because most players are not at high level, and having more content also benefits the most who are low level too, I don’t know in what world that new content turned into something negative. Maybe Amazon just doesn’t like minorities. =v

I think one of the biggest issues with content being released too fast is the experience for the average (majority) player that has reached the entrance requirements and does not run with a dedicated team/guild.

If there aren’t enough players within the pool for certain content, it may seem deserted and difficult to form groups outside of peak hours and at the end of the weeks which is kind of like the scenario of “it’s lonely being at the top.”

They would probably want a vibrantly populated endgame so people are motivated to keep playing, at the suffering of the minority that are way beyond entrance requirements already. I say suffering, but you’re not really losing out on anything except for maybe your ilvl lead.

As the KR players say, rushing item levels only makes you lose in the long run (especially when content is current to KR).

Some achievements were bugged, they got fixed. This 4.2% is pretty accurate for 1302. We don’t have a situation where most or even half or even a tenth of the population is at 1370 or higher. Stop looking at your own gearscore and making hindsighted assumptions.

Unless the number of T3 bots somehow outnumbers the amount of non-T3 bots plus people who dropped the game, that number grows.

Yea but you just proved my point.
Also, in Korea guilds are well established and much needed. I know. It’s day and night difference how much I begun to love and adore the game as soon as I found a guild that I clicked with. That’s key in LA and most people don’t seem to know.
