Mostly the reason is, because other people are bored, stuck doing the same content over and over again, those who pay to get higher ilvls, get suddenly to do this awesome legion raid that everyone is expecting for, see the problem? see the reason why 200k players left on a single day because of argos?
When a game is meant to be f2p, it cannot cater whales, thats why they are making a delay if the f2p players are not high enough to reach valtan. Thats just how it goes, if this was 30-40 euro monthly payment game, then nobody would be crying, we would all get to that lvl instantly to play it, but nope. f2p players have to grind, and to have to grind months more because a player spent money?
I too understand that people should get something for their money, but they already get the ilvl, they are going to do valtan with 1430+ ilvl while f2p players barely reaching 1415 required, if even reaching.

Argos release was indeed pretty shit, the reason it was “p2w” is because all those people that did the Argos the first week snowballed the market out of control and they were ahead by a lot. It’s always gonna happen, someone has to be ahead, but that doesnt mean they should be able to snowball and always be ahead of everyone.
More people doing Argos first week - accessories are cheaper and you can afford 3331 engravings with good stats, not rainbow stats.
Now prices of those are dropping fast because more people are here, and that’s how it should work.
Also one more thing, once Valtan comes out, those relic accessories will sell by a lot and people who were ready for it day 1 will control the market. In nutshell, west is super elitist as far as I know, and theres absolutely no chance you’re gonna get invited to Valtan day 1 even if u are ready for it, because people are pushing the limits of required engravings.
You can clear Valtan normal with 331, but you know that they will always ask for 3331 even tho it’s not necessary, and you cant afford accessories.

And? So f*cking what? Why does any f2p player care about what wales are doing? Releasing content is not catering to whales, the content is PERMANENT. It’s not a timed event where you won’t ever be able to do it after it’s released. That’s what nobody seems to understand, KR streamers with 1590 characters are doing valtan on alts, it’s still relevant, so it’s just stupid to make everyone that’s ready wait for the rest of the people that are not putting the time an effort to do the content on the release day or would rather pick up mokokos than make another alt and farm.
Because this game has not been out long enough, if people were doing already 2 legion raids, and 3rd one would get released higher reqs which whales would be doing 1 month before than others, that would not be a big deal, but argos and valtan are literally FIRST of the type content that they are.
Yes valtan is not going anywhere, but we are not at that point that KR was, they had multiple trials, south vern, etc other stuff that helped them reach valtan, we do not have that yet, and people are waiting for that.
Right now its more like RNG, with low supply of mats are you going to succeed? if not you are setback by a huge amount of time, but if we had the material income that KR had, it would be more like ‘‘oh i failed today, yay cant wait to try tomorrow’’. but right now it is ‘‘i failed today, cant wait 5 days to try again’’

People in Argos P1 didn’t snowball the market out of place… you’re talking 0.001% week 1 argos and even by week 5 was like maybe 1% maybe .05%? So you’re telling me these guys straight manhandled the entire market with 5-6 weeks of accessories of which maybe 1/10 is viably BiS and likely used by themselves.
The same way everyone now in Argos is still having to jump into AH to get their perfect accessories and engravings? And you think 10’s or a couple hundred people destroyed the entire economy for 20-40k others?
You don’t think maybe it had something to do with a single computer running a script for 20 accounts to create char, rush 30-60 minute content, delete, rinse/repeat 24/7 with tens of thousands of these accounts generating oodles of gold for RMT whales paying 10000% artificially inflated prices?
Without bots, there would have been extremely limited amount of gold income for even the top 0.001% and top 1% to generate daily/weekly to come anywhere near inflating the entire economy to what is was in the first 1-2 months.
And the people at the top were also having to buy out materials from others reaching / stalling their progression in tiers, many paying legitimately and afraid of potential RMT bans that no one knew the current state of, which in turn, pays the salary of the people running the game for you.
Whales aren’t a problem, P2P isn’t a problem, someone reaching the furthest content before you isn’t a problem.
The game is essentially MMO Gacha Gaming in 2.5D 90% solo style, and everyone is treating progression speed to the end of a line as a competition.
That mindset of creating a competitive “race” to the finish line is what forced such insane and heavy response from RMT websites capitalizing on Western audiences dogma of making a competition out of everything…
Imagine you’re waiting in line to see Harry Potter Sorcerer’s Stone for free yeah? Some people paid the movie theater extra to get in first and help the movie business continue to produce movies for you to see for free and some fucksticks paid for cheap mass produced passes majorly discounted, and then as you’re about to finally get in to see Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone for free, the movie theater releases Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets….
You’re PISSED because other people got to see the first Harry Potter before you because they paid to see it first and NOW OF ALL THINGS those same people get to pay to watch Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets before you, and as you’re getting out of the first movie and waiting in-line to see the second for free… you see all these people just hanging around outside the movie theater talking about how cool it was. You’re upset because you don’t get to stand with those people and talk about it because you haven’t seen it yet… even though you’re about to!

You must be trolling, literally 1 week after argos release, EVERY ENGRAVING BOOK dropped in prices, paladin holy aura for example dropped from 16k to a 4k book, so please dont talk this nonsense thinking people will beieve it.
Whales getting early access will let whales dominate the market, this is not a WHALE game, this is f2p game, and the majority 99% of players are f2p. You want content, fine, you will get it but be considerate of others and give it a week or two until f2p players are there.
Dont go writing all this nonsense of why whales should be able to do valtan for 2 months until f2p players could, just because they paid. In matter of a fact, with your terms speaking we should release 1600+ ilvl into the game too, and 1600+ raids for the whales, and not care of the 99%.

Maybe instead of advocating here of how entitled you are to get anything you need because you swinged your card, you could advocate and suggest things that improve the f2p progression to reach that required ilvl.

Or play a support like I did and get into groups for Argos P2 and P3 early because you’re F2P and want to work the best in your favor the best way you can.
Load up excel and make some spreadsheets of optimal farming and maximizing profits like thousands of other F2P players do so you can juice those whales of their hard earned money the best you can, so when we finally get pity systems we’ve been slowed down from getting, you can drop all your whale juice and hand me down money on catching up asap
People need to understand the market was snowballed from the get go from botting artificially injecting gold into the game through rapport npcs. That sort of inflation was never intended to begin with and everything was out of control.
People doing P1 didnt snowball anything. The only people they could sell too were the only 0.1 % of people who got there as well lol
My point is whales don’t dominate the market. That’s a flat out lie and scapegoat for what you’re really complaining about, reaching the end of the line at the same time as whales.
Whales are just as limited in resources at their level as yourself when you get to their level and they’ll still pump money into the game we play for free.
You guys complaining about slowing down content for others now means I as F2P have to play in a poorly managed and outdated system that has evolved over years because “this is how it was back then”
Granted we’re still in a fast track but the main goal is to catch up to KR/RU in which a F2P player would be MUCH happier with a current and up to date model currently KR/RU… so the only thing I see here is benefitting AGS/SMG by slow dripping content with garbage systems because people want to make a competition out of racing to an incomplete finish line.
Had no one complained for the get go, we’d probably be in Valtan by now with increased honing rates but everyone complains soooo much our fast track had to modified and slowed down.

In the end though, the game is fun and 90% solo gameplay so play it at your own pace and stop focusing or comparing yourself to others in a non competitive game, while complaining and forcing your woke equality ideologies on everything, which in turn allows a predatory company to act even more predatory by manipulating the gambling aspect of the gacha gaming system in the worst iteration of LA’s history.
Pipe down, play and enjoy your game for free, and let the game progress at insane catch up speed that was intended, and suddenly your F2P experience matches the same that KR/RU get.

When we have all the way to gather materials as other servers do, then its understandable when they pump out end-game content at a rate faster than normal. But right now, thats not ideal. Im myself closing on valtan lvls as f2p but im definitely not wanting to go there alone without my friends, so i advocate for them too, even though if valtan got released, i would benefit tremendously more myself than they.
you dont need to be always that much selfish, somewhat is ok, but there a line that if you cross it turns toxic.
Research upcoming content, watch streams from veterans, study yet to release classes and start preparing to milk the whales when content is released so the whales work for you.
Make a support class and charge raids the day before reset to run support for them… easy money
