Please fix your Customer support system ! (Please read this)

Just a simple answer to my question would have been fine. Since it was my appeal instead of just copy pasting their “law” basically telling you “its in here”.

That’s the thing, they didn’t even put the correct law in their copy paste, which is strange.

none of this applies to your case, but what I shared you does.

It’s like they dont even look at the case, thats their pre loaded response to everything. And you cant ban someone for a certain thing and then sentence them on a whole different thing. Its the naming policy conduct that. I was ban for.

Maybe they thought the ketchup one falls under violence based on sex? lol idk…

Oh and

In addition to following our Code of Conduct, player-made names may not:

  • Cause or intend to cause disruptive behavior, such as names that could be offensive or inappropriate to others

So yeah what I linked does apply sadly for you.

(Wasn’t hard to find this either so I have no idea why they shared you the wrong section?)

(oh and don’t try to bypass it,

[…} player-made names may not:

  • Use misspellings, alternate spellings, or combinations of words, symbols, and letters to produce a result that would otherwise violate this policy.

)

No. They post the bottom (actually everything past the first paragraph) part of the message to everyone regardless of what they did. It is like a footer with a reminder of how to act.
The actual response to his msg was the first paragraph in which they are stating that he violated the ToS.

So if you owned a business and someone walked into your establishment saying “fuck your business” to bring the customers inside your livelihood together, you wouldn’t remove them from your place of business?

I mean… maybe I’m missing something, but this has nothing to do with freedom of speech. You weren’t arrested, you were suspended for being immature inside of their digital business.

I seee, that makes more sense.

Their support might work differently but I worked in an isp center before and usually we had a few different premade messages ready to use for cases that don’t need actual evaluation and additional explanations as they speak for themselves.
In this case, the majority of those who ask what they did wrong know exactly what they did wrong (or suspect it) so amazon doesn’t bother arguing with them. At the same time.
There are cases where people do get falsly acused, however it wouldn’t take long before the cs would realize that. They still go through the messages, they just don’t reply to each one individualy.

If thats the case, why is there even an appeal if they dont look at the case.
Giving the whole rule book after the sentence, there is no hearing/considering appeal.

“Freedom of speech” doesn’t apply to a public company - AGS owns Lost Ark, not congress.

Freedom of speech applies to congress (government-owned entities not private.

US Congress & US Courts Def of Freedom of speech:
"Congress shall make no law…abridging freedom of speech.”

When you play a game that’s private - you agree when you buy it and when you log in to abide by “Codes of conduct” TOS ext.

You broke the TOS and got banned deal with it.

They look at your case. But if they see something obvious (like in your case, a name containing the word “precum”) they don’t bother explaining it to you what you did wrong, because it’s obvious already.
In your case, you pushed further so someone actually did tell you that they would change those 3 character names. I don’t know what else you expect from them.

(in case when people exploit, bot or cheat, there’s a whole different reason why they don’t share any details)

Not at all. It’s an industry standard.
Plus this is from the company that is worth 5x(even more) less than Amazon.

Best we can do is copy paste our policy and say its in here. When you ask for specifics we’ve already given you too much information. Lmfao

They don’t understand that customer support is like 10% of the experience. It’s very fucking important that the company has a full transparency with Players, their information and private shit.

I can understand they’re overwhelmed right now with issues. Hopefully down the line it gets better. LoL was in the same boat b4.

LoL - Riot Games started with and from nothing. Where Amazon has the funds to Recruit 1000-5000 Agents.
Just for example- 5ca / Epic games have around 2000-2500 with over 100.000 tickets on weekly basis.
