I’ve been playing Berserker since the start of EU/NA and I love it, It reminds me of a Arms warrior in WoW and it’s a class I associate myself with most of all, However I’m am developing an increasing love/hate relationship with it. Only reason being that I’m not useful.
I alt a Paladin and a Gunlancer both of which have just hit T3 and I’ve been heavily considering either of them as a new main.
I love the aspect of support Paladin and let’s face it, being wanted is especially nice in Dungeons and Raids and to be honest I like the playstyle too. But I have a paladin in my guild that is very competent and does content with me, so the question here is, Is having 2 Support Paladins in a raid viable?
Gunlancer is a whole new playstyle to me and I can only say I love it as much a my Berserker and I’m arguably more useful in all kinds of content.
I’m happy to alt my Berserker, hence the decision but I’m very undecided.

just as a thing to consider, in the recent patch on the kr test realm they are testing slashing bersis dps a bit and instead giving them better team-wide buffs. ofc noone can tell if these changes make it to the finalized version and when they will drop here.
2 supports in raids are a must not at this stage of the game but later on , 2 palas or 2 bards or 1 of each doesnt matter but 2 supports is very very viable hope that answers your question
Gunlancer will be taken as a support especially if there is no paly or bards. However, this is only for Argos which is easy. The harder content will probably stop taking gunlancer as support
as far as i know in kr both classes would secure you a spot in later raids so if u enjoy gunlancer more I’d go for him. in the end it’s all about the enjoyment and the class is still desirable, though proper supports are in higher demand rn.
