I have been doing Guardians now since forever… And during the last couple of weeks ive been getting stuck at 80% loading screen so many times its silly! Each time i need to reboot the game, load up, try to explain to the ppl doing guardians with that i DC’d, but then the screen freeze… For 2-4 min… The screen freeze each time i load the game after loading bug.
This is how it happends btw:
Que for Guardians
Enter, getting stuck at 80% laoding
Ctrl alt + del - Close game
Load the game, having VERY slow loading(only first time after crash)
Run towards the guardian, then after 5-10 sec the screen freezes for 2-4 min
Then the game runs as it should
Until this all happends again!
I’m sorry to read that your game is freezing when you’re doing Guardian Raids, you listed the steps for this freezes to happen then you mentioned “then the game runs as it should”, do you mean that after the screen freeze ends you’re able to continue the Guardian Raid or does the screen freeze ends when the raid is finished? Is this issue happening every time you try a Raid or just some of them? Either way, please try verifying the integrity of your game files and confirm if this issue is still happening for you.

After the freeze i can play as normal(continue guardian), maybe all day or 1 more guardian, until the same happends again. I have verified the game files more then once, repaired the EAC, and now resently it happend when doing Boss rush and Chaos dungeon(today). I have updated nvidia drivers aswell. It does not seem to help
Same issue this seems to happen every time on the logged in character’s first guardian run, the second run loads normally (and this happens almost on every character I connect) and it only happens on guardians and not in raids or dungeons.
For my part I tried everything repairing the files on steam, uninstalling and reinstalling and I even formatted my pc from scratch it does not seem to be hardware in any case because it has been happening since the last update.
I’ve never had this kind of problem before…
I have just hit this problem. I tried 3 times in a row to try to enter a guardian dungeon and got stuck at 80%. I ctrl-alt-del the game and now I get the perpetual steam stopping bug.
