@Roxx WHO MADE THIS DECISION??? Gold D River even said in the pre launch interview that he didn’t like it, SO WHO IS DOING THESE THINGS? This name SUCKS, just keep it the same man. It’s so EASY.

Many people do care. The name sounds dumb along with a ton of these crappy AGS names. The best part is even GR thought they were confusing and bad. Probably too late to do anything about it. AGS just continue to show why they likely won’t be successful in their own games. Have non-gamers making gaming decisions.

Stick to glavier, it’s the price you guys pay for cutting in line. Hell, there shouldn’t even be a line to begin with.

I don’t mean to be rude, but when you guys go over translations, especially big translations like class names… can you please also elaborate the reasonings behind certain translations/namings?
Sometimes it feels like someone decides that on a whim, much less because of reasoning. So we can atleast discuss in a civilized manner why you as a company came to the conclusion and if we can agree to that or can argument against certain points that might be not logical.
As a developer and someone who talks frequently with customers, it is important to tell reasonings and inner workings in order to not just seem to work, but also show that you work hard and think thoroughly behind every big decision.
If this is some sorta forced way to rename it from KR/RU version so that people, when they google it, won’t get out of any EU/NA wiki/website sources - can we atleast have a poll so the community can decide on the name? In this case Glaivier is… a really unfortunate choice in my opinion.

the most used LA website by koreans which got a little bit of english translation have “glaivier” as the name for lance master even before the announcement. i started using it a month ago so atleast a month before the roadmap so…
and tbh it seems like a glaive master more than a lance laster lol

Class literally doesn’t use a lance so why on earth would you call it lance master? A lance is a longer heavier spear used by cavalry. The class uses spears and glaives.

For all the “but she uses a glaive” people who think they are being technical, she uses a guandao, not a glaive. So by your argument, we should call her the Guandaoer right?
But more to the point, the main thing is unnecessarily changing names

the korean version isnt lance master. I dont know where that translation came from. Maybe thats what it was called in Russia 
crazy that i can find articles from april 2019 when lancemaster came out in korea (before RU) calling it lancemaster
창 술 사 doesnt mean lance master. If you have korean friends you can probay ask them.
I saw the articles but no link to the original source which doesnt prove im wrong nor does it prove im right. However, that doesnt change the original name of the korean class.
