Got so excited about the right engravings that I didn’t notice it was Spec/Swift when I need Crit/Swift. Please let us be able to cancel even as the highest bid, this is a lot of pheons to waste on accident.
Why? Its a valid concern.
I mean, there should be a limit on it, but being able to cancel for 5 minutes or sth like that would be nice -sometimes you misstype and confirmation messages are clicked away often if you need to buy multiple sought after items (especially since you need to wait 10s AFTER confirming before buying the next one).
Opposed to some other crap being suggested in this forum, this actually has merrit (as a suggestion).

Bidding means you have influence over the price of the product. If you bid for 10 bucks, this means that you took all chances of someone bidding below that price. And tha’ts why you cant cancel it.
Also, imagine if people abused this and canceled their bids all the time to re-adjust the prices. Yikes.

oh ya that’s definitely a thing that can happen especially with market manipulators, but it would be nice for an “opps” type of option like a time limit to cancel if accidental bid

Ehm, yeah like I said: There would need to be a low timelimit (like 1-5 minutes) and of course the cancellation needs to reset the price to whatever it was before the bid.
Even RMT platforms like eBay allow to retract bids for a short while in case you accidentally bid 10k on a 1k item…
Um no becuse obvious reasons
sorry man but its a bad idea, it sucks what happen to you but at least you can use that item until you get the good one
just pay more attention next time, its a game after all dont lose you mind over that
