Why would a T3 char be honing T1/T2 gear?

Exactly, a lot of people were complaining they used it on their main. This is to help those people not give people a second express pass because they didn’t use their initial pass to its full use.
Lmao all these players now posting how unfair the fix will be like seriously.
You CANT cheat an event and try to use the benefit on 2 chars. If you claimed it, you’re fked, everyone since day 1 already said.
“If you fked up, dont claim and wait”.
Did you know the event ends on 6/30? and now is only what… 4/27? Why are you in a rush to claim. I would understand if it’s reaching the deadline but it’s not.
what is being given out is already generous enough, people didnt inform themselves about the purpose and the design of the event and then made a quick decision that alot of them regret because they didnt do so
the patch notes were very clear on what the purpose of the event is, everyone of my friends read them once and knew what it was about, if you are unsure about something then you dont just spend it, you check out what exactly it is about in the first place
while descriptions can always be improved and excessively displayed in the game directly and they will do that, now people are just going to keep complaining about every little thing that was being caused by their own mistake in an attempt to get compensation for their own inability to make informed decisions and deal with the repercussions themselves and are even looking for extra handouts already

Bro if you used it for t1 and t2 honing then you don’t need to switch characters.
ehmn why would you ever hone something in t1 or t2 with a t3 char? unless i’m missing something i think its highly unlikely anyone would have done this
I used it on my main since I had no T1/T2 alts and got the big boi chest from level 4 that was still totally worth it. But now they’re taking the ability to do that away, not letting you choose a T3 main for the event. imo it’s now worse than it was before. Take it while you still can.
I can’t believe this post i seriously cannot believe how much layers of uncapability a player can have to make a simple but important decision.
Now you will tell me you realized you messed up and instead of not touching anything you started to claim things just to mess up even MORE.
Someone can’t really be that special for real they should have earn their own king of special player tittle.
I swear if someone is complainning about a solution that made devs loose their time over player mistakes that would be enough feedbacl to devs not caring anymore.
Be ready to be accountable of your actions in th future cause this kind of fixes won’t happen anymore with that attitude

I took all the rewards on main since I was unable to swap. The damage was done and I got rid of the notifications. This is NOT my fault for not “waiting”. This is on their end for making the mistake and now I have a ton of t1/t2 mats sitting there bound to my t3. How was I suppose to know they were going to change it?

It stopped at +10…… that’s 30 hones from t3 where it wouldn’t do anything. Get over if you made use of the event already

Sorry, that’s on you. No reason to claim them if they’re useless to you anyway. Unlike someone the majority of people that don’t even know the forums exist you’re clearly on the forums so you should have seen the amount of shit that was brewing over the people that started the event on ‘the wrong character’.
If for some reason you used the t1/t2 honing benefit on a 1302+ character then that’s more of a head scratcher.
Are you saying that your main is tier 1/2? Because Tier 3 char would NEVER use this honing buff. You are either lying (not even a good lie you just look dumb now) or your main is actually low tier and you used it on that char. Either way deal with it. You are in 0.1% btw not 90%, everyone who claimed it claimed it on T3 chars and that is fixed now.
guess i’m one of the few people who used the express event on my Glaivier and didn’t use the Feiton Pass but used Knowledge transfer to get her to Vern castle since that’s the start of the express event.
Very disappointed in this. I originally put the event on my 960 alt thinking the mats would be roster bound, and my 960 could clear all the tasks. Once realizing everything was locked of course I honed a piece before a character change possibility was even announced. Now I can’t switch because I honed some gear. I can’t imagine anyone waited a week not doing anything on the hopes of a character change. Poorly communicated and implemented.
when have event mats ever been roster bound? what made you believe it would be different this time?
