its a bit sadge that this was announced like 15 min prior to official launch :smiley: (for eu prior to 6 pm), wld be nice that in the future you could give us heads up a bit sooner cause i imagine thousands of us made plans to play the game and prioritized LA over other things that we can NOT do rn :smiley:

Nope, if the team says what the problem is then a technical person needs to appear to reply saying why “just revert it” isn’t an option, I’m willing to bet that out of the 3 million players less than 50 of them are qualified server architects, with a smaller number with in depth database knowledge.

You end up with 1000s of people trying to “help” giving bad suggestions. Path of Exile had the EXACT issue a few years back.

The game is under maintenance, which means we cannot make it available to paid or free-to-play players – it is simply down as we work on it.

One of my posts asking about if it is the same dev team as New World was deleted by the mods, so yeah… Im gonna say this is what we are to expect everytime they try to fix something.

No they don’t. Because the majority of the people don’t care what the problem is, just that it gets resolved.

It’s probably above the knowledge set of anyone who plays Lost Ark, or at least 99% of the player base, so it’s pointless to talk about intricate details about what’s going on.

well what did we pay for then for early access? to wait? it will be almost a day at this point by the time you get the servers back up.

Yea when I tell people that an issue will be resolved soon and I will update them when we have more details it usually means that we don’t know what the heck went wrong and have no idea how to fix it while we scramble trying to put something up that will be workable. He lost everyone’s data didn’t you? And then when yall tried to roll the backups you found out the backups were never made, huh? Trying to prevent refunding all those people who paid for early access due to erasing all their characters huh? Am I right?

I just want to know exactly who thought “let’s roll out a hotfix that should be finished exactly at launch time”. haha Then, how did not a single soul stop them? Can we get an update on that employee’s current mental wellbeing?

I get that the servers are down but we need some kinda of more substantial update than just “don’t know”, “Soon”.

Oh I know, its just wishful thinking. There are a few indie devs that do breakdowns of why they do certain things and I always found it interesting. Having a multi billion dollar corp like amazon do it is at best a wish.

No. There are a lot of devs playing this game too and can reveal the real problem. That´s why they dont clarify.
