Looks like character creation is locked on Valtan (according to discord) so all the non founders can’t play with their founder friends… OCE server might have solved this issue

This just keeps getting worse, now I can’t even join the server/guild my friends are in? They stated that they will be opening more servers tomorrow for launch, how amazing that NA will get even more servers now! Hahah this is actually so dumb.

Here you go, made a toon on USWest Valtan to make a video and show you under 200 ping With VPN i’d be at 150ms but i can’t make that video because we’re not allowed to use them. Sorry about your account though 
I play with 200ms anyway because i’m on USEast and not really having a hard time with it being a gunlancer may help i guess… but my soulfist ad Paladin feel fairly responsive too when i do daily stuff on them.
How is everyone elses Roster going?

I guess it’s shame on me for seeing how much Amazon games were completely unprepared for New Worlds release to expect them to do any better with Lost Ark.
So now the NA West server (Valtan) that OCE players made home because there’s apparently not enough people in OCE playing will be locked because it has queues from all our free to play friends.
So all of us with founders packs and 20-30 hours playtime would lose everything to be able to play with our friends on a different server.
EDIT: Not to mention I haven’t been able to do a single Adventure Island because the times literally could not be any worse for anyone with a job in OCE.
What an absolute shit show.

As said in my other post;
Playing with a 0.2s delay is NOT enjoyable, it is frustrating early game at best, and debilitating end game at worst - dodging an attack and being visibly outside the telegraph only for it to hit you anyway, for example, is incredibly annoying, and I can assure you this will drive away players as soon as it starts becoming noticeable. For me this was during the first world boss.
I understand that this is a publishing issue, that is for AGS and Smilegate to figure out, and it’s a real shame they didn’t before release as this will seriously damage the reputation of the game for OCE.
Wish the suits would stop treating us as second class citizens - there’s a lot of money to be made by taking the OCE community seriously for once.
Not to mention could have avoided this whole mess with locked servers.

Yeah lets cram a whole region onto 1 server with 200 ping, that’ll really help our server congestion issues.

Ummm… it’s NOT false information…
There has been so much lag it’s not funny… Just running around the beginner town and the game keeps freezing… when I fight, there is lag…
So stop saying it’s a falsehood, as this has been my experience… and you are basically calling me and others a liar…
Just because it has not been your experience, does not mean that everyone has the same lack of issues as you…

What publishing issue? Australia/ New Zealand already have the rights to play, the only issue is from AGS not Smilegate. AGS is the publisher so we demand OCE server from Amazon

But on second look it seems they’re referring to SEA regions which don’t yet have the game.
In that case, no excuse - they are simply being stubborn and greedy.

This post is by far the most viewed of the entirety of these forums.
No update for 11 days, no regional server support despite the game being marketed towards and sold in AU/NZ, and we’re told it is because of a legal formality that exec’s presumably get paid six figures to negotiate.
This would be pretty hilarious if it wasn’t just another sad example of game developers and companies taking advantage of their players.

So… OCE community decided to make Valtan unofficial OCE server but according to CM
new players will not be able to join or create characters.
The following servers will have character creation limits put in place:

Mari
Valtan
