This message is the most annoying thing in the game. All it does is make buying things take x10 as long; while you have to wait for an internal cooldown to buy things. It is terrible and it feels awful please get rid of it.

It in no way hindered the bots. They are still buying and interacting with the AH at an inhuman rate causing too many user messages.
The only thing it did was make it painful for literally every other user to buy things that don’t fit or won’t give you the stack size that you request. I don’t know about you, but I love not being able to buy 1000 of something because I can only get it to actually purchase 83 at a time and only every 10 seconds or so. And no I’m not kidding.

I agree, sadly however AGS/SG doesn’t see it that way.
if they really wanted to get rid of bots they would open the Taiwanese server and lock NAW and SA from new accounts being created
It’s been suggested, and shot down. You can’t have new players if new players can’t register afterall.
but they like bots because bots drive up the price of things cause of RMT’ers (that chinese RMT whale is still not banned btw). Price driving up means regular players will have to pay more for things/ more likely to swipe for AGS/SG.
Bots make the games numbers look good, the economy is already doomed anyway lol.
AGS/SG should put a system where you need to verify players phone number - This will be solution to cut down bots.
And who exactly will be the party responsible for verifying the phone number? Same with ID verification, it’s no good to just say “submit your ID” without that ID being verified and confirmed to be you.
All you’d end up with is 1 extra step for the bots to auto generate a fake number for each account (plenty of tools out there allow this) as a one time use throw away number while the actual players get to submit tickets all the time when they change numbers, lose their phone, etc.

Sorry, wasn’t mean to be a flame towards you. The truth of it is this would only work if it were setup like KR has where you have an ID directly tied to you as a human.
Like if some company out there made a business out of providing a Gamer-ID that you could only get via a verification process and that ID is tied to you then games could employ said company as a trustworthy source of verification then we’d be onto something.
But the struggle on AGS/SG side to try and use any self submittion identification system would probably be way more hassle than they would want to deal with. Someone somewhere would have to verify the information being submitted is valid (or the scripters for bots would just make fake IDs / fake phone numbers to attach to every bot acocunt) and the problem would simply just continue.
Can you explain to me how is it that having this message show up while buying flowers, mushrooms, fish help combating bots?
Can you explain to me how is it that when I only receive 40 out of the 999 buy orders that I placed for solar protection and being locked by this message and yet not a hinderance.

Personally it’s one of the most intrusive and annoying things.
Constantly pops up when you are shopping, especially when buying multiple stacks or multiple different materials and it annoys the ever loving hell out of me. I’ve even lost a buy on an accessory I needed when I was stuck waiting for 10 seconds and it got bought out.
How they could call it non intrusive to the average player I honestly have no idea.
I’ve been waiting for trusted status for more than 4 months, I meet all the conditions, but nothing happens… it’s just a scam… i’ll never get trusted status in this game… I’m sure… I’ve opened some ticket, but I get only template aswers… LOL
