People using VPNs wasn’t the reason they are enforcing the policy. That’s the biggest issue I have with it beside the fact that I don’t use a VPN and I can’t connect at all because Amazon some how flagged my ISP as a VPN provider.
They enforced the policy because some big brain in Amazon thought it’d solve their Bot issue over night. Which it didn’t. The Chinese are mocking Amazon for it.
Also, if they wanted to enforce their VPN TOS policy they should have done so on February 6th, not 3 months in.
It’s sad all the trolls. Real players who don’t care / unaffected wouldnt be here cheering AGS but playing the game.
It’s also sad how many self entitled little shts there are who can’t understand struggles for those outside the US and/or major cities. Plenty of US players outside major cities use VPNs because crap rural internet as well as many CA and other NA players. Add in all the Aus / NZ, Oceanic players who DO have access to the servers but struggle on 250-400ms latency without a VPN because ISPs and bsckbone providers have no care about gamers and many have no other ISP option even in the US.
I’d love if the next AAA massive game was hosted ONLY on Oceanic/Aus servers where vpns are banned so US self entitled players get to feel it for once.
there are whales that whales for the costumes only, just because they are whales doesnt mean they have to be 1400+, there are players that spends thousands purely on cosmetics and 0 on game progressions
