Lost ark was never made for this amount of players. No other region has amount players as EU Central. Nobody expected it. Smilegate never made it for this market. SInce you never worked in this field, please dont shit around

Thats what we are saying genious. Headstart had 500k players. They could not predict F2P launch is gonna get at least double the amount? How a billion dollar company cant make a proper plan depending on predcitions? They could have just opened 2 more regions instead of doing that after 1 week of F2P launch so people don’t give a shit about new region anymore.

Sit and wait like rest of us. Amazon is just hosting game. All that can be done to game isnt allowed from AGS side unless Smilegate approves it. So we can all sit and wait for smilegate to figure work around

So you are saying 2 regions for NA but 1 region for EU was okay? Thats a clever management. Coz you know NA has 2x the population of EU so why not make 2 regions for NA and just 1 for EU coz why not? Its cheaper coz we are multi billion company, we cant afford that ^^
I’d say it’s fairly awesome that AGS managed to launch the second region in a week. There likely had to be certain level of precaution for the possibility of overload.

Exactly. Considering consequences they are doing amazing job. PEople think they do one click and servers magically raise from ground.
Even with two regions and what 30 servers atm, most population is on 2 servers only. Kadan and Zinnervale. rest have 1/3 queue during prime time. Even with more regions people would find few popular servers just because they want to play on full server. and then QQ later on when they have to wait in queue. Same for lost ark, Same for New world, an same for every other MMO. Some servers just are in general more popular than others.
Same happened on ASgard in New world. Even after transfer being added people refused to leave because they want populated server. and will rather wait in queue
Who cares about queue? Even a temporary solution like decreasing the capacity further is a positive one. Whats the point of having 5k queue if we wont be able to play the game at all with a broken MM. Better to have 15k queue and a playable game. At least you will know about queue and might try to log in early but you cant do shit about MM.
To be fair with reduced capacity, its working. yesterday MM took less than 2-3 tries to get inside. First time in a wweek we did all Abyys dungeons, all raids and chaos dung. Before yesterday took 10-20min for each one
No its not. It works better for Solo but it exactly the same for Party MM. I would not like to keep playing with random parties on raid that people die 3 times in 30 seconds and ruin your game experience. I like to party up with my friends and guild to enjoy the game like most others.
What about creating more regions/realms like EUC-2, EUC-3 etc each with 6-10 servers (whatever they can handle)?
I have just started in EUW and got all my founder pack back.
I know it’s a real pain starting again but at least you wouldn’t be spending hours queueing. It may not be the best idea, but certainly the easiest to implement considering EUW was up in days.

You got only like %20 of what u have in ur Founder pack. People have 100hours+ progress, islands etc.
I didn’t say it was the best option, just an option that is easier to put in place than others. AGS said they cannot increase server size due to structures and cannot add or remove servers, so the only thing to do is create more regions.
They created extra region but that didnt solve problem, and will not solve untill they add server transfer. And for that we need to wait Smilegate. SErver transfer has been added to current version for Lost ark in Korea and its not compatible withour version. so will take some time till they modify it, if they decide to do so

I totally agree, my idea was just a band-aid solution until transfers are available because people are not keen on the current queues.
migrating a server is not copying it in to a HD then plugging it elsewhere dude lol 
I mean yes you may think Amazon may not be the most able gaming company but cmon …
Server transfer will not work as implemented in Korea…
It allows for server xfer in the same region but doesn’t cross regions… It also is something that doesn’t take effect instantly (it takes affect at the next maintenance after the request)
So it won’t solve problems in EUC in current state…
So maybe, it’s a case of deal with queues or start again on another server. they could at least give you another founders pack if purchased.
Well… AGS is not a billion dollar company. They are owned by one. I work for a company with 350 employees and we are owned by mullti bullion euro company… it pretty much does not matter that much.
AGS is still a bumch of amateurs so it was pretty expected that they fuck this up too.
