Possible solution for disconnection error/problem

I have no idea if it’s going to work for every one of you, but I made my friend tried these solutions and so far he got no disconnection error in about 4 hours.

1. Verify the entrigty of the files in steam
2. Restart your modem
3. Try to connect with cable to your wifi
4. Try to not have any other application open while Lost ark is running
5. Run Lost ark as administrator, if you go the files of lost ark, you will find launcher and try to open the game by running the launcher as administor.
6. After all of these, if you get disconnected again one time, restart modem again.
7. Wait at least 1 minute, maximum 10 minutes after plugging your modem in again.

I haven’t tried it myself cause I’m not at home but my friend did and he had no problem afterwards, I’m not tryna be smart, I’m tryna help as much as I can, cause withj disconnection error, the game is literally unplayable.

I hope that these will help you in order to not get any disconnected error for a while at least, till you can finish your raids.

I pave and nuked my computer reinstalled OS fresh and have nothing running but LA and Discord and it still is happening.

It’s not a player side issue.

Damn, i’ve been always trying to connect with a cable to my wifi but those damn WIFI-Cables nowhere to be found.

“Unplugging your router”, you must be one of those guys working at a phone company with a 10 points troubleshooting list.

EAC timeout client side is the issue, tried to get the CMs attention to relay to devs for days, no one will acknowledge the post.

Disconnect Possible Solution

Good afternoon, Tl;dr - release patch that changes the Easy-Anti-Cheat timeout on clients to 5-6 seconds to solve random disconnect issues. The disconnect issues started after Wednesdays patch, I believe the EAC client side was modified to increase the timeout sensitivity. At the slightest hiccup, it disconnects the client back to server select. Different people are having more issues than others, indicating their network, or the backbone ISP route the data takes, is having ping/packet issue…

I’m just trying to be nice and give people some options who has no idea what to do, as I mentioned in the post that I’m not trying to be smart, nor am I sure that these are going to work. Either they are useful or not, those are some options that the player self can try.
