if there are none then yes, there is no issue
hasnt it been stated the main purpose of the express event and powerpass is for the players considering coming back, not new players
im sorry but the express event is essentially a powerpass with a tiny bit of work involved, if they handed out a free 1302 boost AND a free boost from t1 302 all the way to 1370, that would be too much in a short period of time
I guess I explained myself badly since everyone is focused on powerpass, i want them to enable global honing buffs so that the new players that dont have access to powerpass can at least make it quicker to T3
wrong big wrong and wrong, t1-t2 is useless content even agreed by the dev team why ya think they give out boost useable by everyone like some candy :d doesnt matter what part we are in right now t1-t2 wont give u new players.
New players see new class maybe i like it but cant play it unless they do boring lvln and gearing for weeks. I guess u for a reason aint in marketing and ags shouldnt be either xd atleast not in gamin marketin
sadly wont ever happy until late raids like abu maybe, ags didnt even want to give us the 1460 stronghold buff so i doubt they have honing buff anytime soon greed hinders to much :d

again its all a matter of preference. there are people who do not care not a single bit about legion raids.
some people play games for reasons beyond “end game” content. i just so happen to be a fan of the whole package, i like story content and collectiable stuff (to a degree) and ofc raid content.
but i also have friends that just outright ignore it all together and sit at Lv 30 and pvp all day, i have friends that speed run to the next raid and i have friends that spent weeks farming mokoko and doing the adventure tome.
so yeah some ppl REALLY REALLY hate the story and would rather instantly skip to 1490, while others want to experience the entire thing from start to finish.
Imagine absolute new players punika passing to 1302, express passing to 1370 and then queueing yohos with you. Shag floor povs

And 99% of the T1/T2 guardians are horribly designed and balanced making a party necessary to reduce stress/anger, you can smash your head into a wall but that doesn’t make doing so a good thing. Moreover a bard/paladin cannot solo them and its the biggest reason why my bard isnt T3 yet, because there is no one there anymore, and it will be harder to get more supports if this keeps up.
no all the t1/t2 guardians are braindead easy to do. even the most annoy one can be solo’d
doing it in a group only makes it MORE difficult. because now the boss has more hp, a higher threshold for destruction or stagger and you have to rely on 3 other people.
No they aren’t, learning to enjoy dogshit design doesn’t make them good or braindead either. T1/T2 guardians deal random damage just because they can, some of them are hard to read or too quick, give stupidly strong debuffs with nearly every attack, have stupidly annoying mechanics that are more tedious than fun, or are damage sponges just for the sake of being one. There is a reason why the newer guardians are nothing like the older gen, that’s because they are designed to be fun.
I think roxx mentioned and apologized on another post for this, but this event doesn’t seem to be aimed at new players unlike the previous one.
In any case, it takes about a month to reach T3 (1302) without honning buffs and 1 or 2 alts farming mats, the events also help, by that time you will still have the powerpass and event so you can use the pass on an alt and have 2 T3 characters, and boost one of them with the express + the alt.
It takes time, and it sucks I know, but that’s the best tip I can give you.
All my alts are still doing Igrexion kekw. But with the purify rune is basically powerless.
Ah, yes. Play our Massively Multiplayer Online game and solo all the group content at max level for a few weeks until you can play with other people. This is definitely a winning formula that will achieve maximum retention of new players.

technically guardians are not “group content” they are labeled as 1-4. they are pieces of content designed to be soloable.
if we were talking about abyss dungeons or legion raids we would have a different series of complaints (and more valid ones too). but you are not expected to solo those
A lot of people in this thread have no clue what he’s talking about.
Right now before you get the stronghold honing buff, honing is terrible without the express event.
For instance I used the Feiton pass on a Berserker as soon as I got it, before I had completed Punika on my main and got 1302 item level to get the stronghold honing buff. Meaning honing was very hard on that Berserker before I got the buff. New players will not be able to use the stronghold buff or the 1370 express event meaning they will have to deal with terrible honing rates due to a lack of global honing buff. I believe this is what OP is talking about.

GRs have always been designed with groups in mind. They were the original end game content in the game after all. If you need evidence of that I can give you a few examples to demonstrate:
Vertus grab, Tytalos bomb circle, Achates statues, Alberhastic grab, Velganos bite, Deskaluda X’s, etc., etc.
Regardless, you’re ignoring the fact that this process of weeks soloing before you can actually play with people will just drive new players away. Honestly, can you name another MMO like that?
T1 and T2 content is irrelevant to establish players. To new players, it teaches them the game. I do not want to be in a valtan group with some that doesn’t know what the hell is destruction / weak point skill, what the heck is stagger, and don’t know how to counter. Let them figure those out in T1 and T2.
