For everyone who want’s to keep the legendary class engraving selection chest for Artist i have bad news.
Short version:
Artist wont get added to those selection chests.
Long Version due to how Lost ark works there are shared ID and unique ID.
The rng books are shared ID while the “Legendary Engraving Recipe Selection Chest” is fully unique.
So unless AGS/SG updates those holding them won’t do anything as unique ID dont update with new content while shared ID do (example for skins are first arkpass weapon skin box was shared ID and automatically update with all classes up to Summoner, meanwhile most skin boxes are Unique thats why those boxes didn’t update with new classes even tho kr has skins for those classes)
There is a chance that they manually update it but so far no item was manually updated.
i really dont know why it is so hard for people like you to read or inform yourself.
Selection Books for Class engravings did update with new classes. they did it since we got the very first selection pouches. I still have 3 class selection pouches on my roster storage which can all get the summoner books.
and for the stuff why you should inform yourself - because there was an offical response yesterday, so dont just spread bullshit without even trying to get info beforehand.
What nonsense are you talking about. I am not talking about the old ones as they are shared and i still hold SEVEN of them myself.
But they are literally shared ID but im not arguing about those. I am talking about the one in toad shop which have an unique ID.
So my proof is in the info i get from the codex meanwhile you think. Show me a screenshot where those two stack then I’ll believe you but till then i believe the info from codex over your rambling.

I am fine if you have claims with some form of proof as backing but just saying “previous versions stacked and updated” yeah doesnt mean this will. we have so many identical boxes which dont stack.
Also we have roxx saying no outfit from the previous outfits will be available on artist.
I know of 5 boxes we got in the past year which have artist included and will (automatically due to shared ID) update once we have march update.
Most players will only be able to purchase 1 legendary engraving recipe selection chest by the time this event is over anyways since it cost 18 toad tokens + the low drop rate it has. ( Also doesn’t help the boxes are character bound now so most people may not even purchase those on alts now kek )
I would assume most people won’t even bother saving up to purchase this anyways as some might want the legendary card pack and others will take 3 of the random ones over the selection one.
The whole thing with Artist being included is just AGS telling everybody to hoard and gamble the RANDOM ones for a chance at it since people can buy multiple of those per week.
they already made a statement that ALL boxes will have artist in it.
We had several instances where AGS said something is a certain way and then changed within less than 12h.
Now i see in the codex that the rng bags will update but the selection will and wanted to draw attention to it.
yeah true but especially since its so expensive it makes sense to not spend points on it vs several (2) legendary cardpacks instead. Or honing material. As long as AGS looks into it im happy.
Its not about reading the future its about knowing how shared/unique IDs work. No Unique ID was updated so far.
Will it this time? Maybe, noone knows, not even SG at this point but just because i dont know if they will update doesnt mean i dont know that RIGHT NOW it wouldnt update automatically.
