Public Profiles that views in-game stats

Is it possible to have our forum public profiles to be linked to our in-game characters profiles? For example if you click my name, you can see my characters item level, roaster level and alts.

Blizzard (Diablo 3) forums did that and it helped with the fakers and whiners. Would eventually make the forums cleaner and less drama.

No more “I’m 1455+ with 6 x 1385 alts” comments when the poster might actually just be tier1.

I like that idea! can we have that?

I’m 1455+ with 6 x 1385 alts and i think this is a horrible idea

Spotted a tier 1? Sorry couldnt refrain

and what if i am a tier1? hows that relevant to anything in this forum?

even if my first post was a meme , you are just proving my point why this is a horrible idea

It was a joke in all honesty. Idc what Tier someone is and how much they play as long as they are reasonable and all

But showing stats like that would certainly be helpful to help others or whatever.

Tbh I don’t think the people who tell you what gs they are, are faking cuz they usually spend you screenshots as well, obviously your example is a troll.
It would simply help with people trolling on the forum tho.

In my case it would be Curiosity : who im talking to , what have they experienced . it would give you a better understanding of who the person on the other end is.
And therefore can “trust or distrust” the words of others more? Sounds bad but i cant find better words . Credibility?

This is a good idsa, I believe this happens in wow forums.

No. This forum is outsourced to fit several games and it does not support this function. This type of thing requires a custom made forum, and the name of the game is cutting costs everywhere

Another game with this forum: Conan Exiles - Funcom Forums

With enough support I’m sure Amazon can think of something. Curious, what other games is this forum retrofitted to use ?

They certainly can make this if enough money is thrown at it, my point is that they simply won’t bother with it. We have many things leading to the idea that they don’t really like spending money deemed as “unecessary”. And for them, even hiring GMs (a staple of mmos for moderation and you know, dealing with bots ) is unecessary.

The only other one that i’m aware of is conan exiles, or better put, every funcom game.
Some games decide to use their own (as far as i’m aware, could be outsourced and customized) such as genshin impact. There they have hoyolab (or hoyoverse, it changed at some point) and it does indeed sync with your account data. Pretty neat.
