Judging from what I’ve seen from the people I talk to, as well as what we see come up here on the forums, I believe it is safe to assume that most people who have been actively playing the game since its launch are using all of their 6 free character slots at this point.
The item levels of said characters might vary from person to person, but generally 6 slots being in use seems about normal by now.
Which brings me to my actual point…
Do you honestly expect us, @Roxx (and your Amazon overlords, since I realise this isn’t up to you personally), to fork over cold hard cash (or its digital equivalent) to unlock more slots on a region that is for all intents and purposes dead?!
Or should I just delete another one of my characters, just so that I can say that I’ve used my passes like a good, happy customer?
Now, I am not here to debate the state of EUW for the umpteenth time; anyone who is at end-game level is well aware of empty markets, f*cked up economy, and dead party finder during the later hours - nevermind the inability of some EUW servers to do world content (islands, bosses, sailing, etc) - and if you aren’t at end-game level and reading this, thinking to yourself that “EUW is totally fine”, why the heck are you still investing time in this region to begin with?!
Anyway, I digress, point being - given the state of things, and given that the response from corporate to this issue as been “we’re looking into it” since May (or April if you really wanna push it), you cannot possibly expect us to further invest in something that is not only not delivering the full experience, but may well become completely unplayable in the very near future (I’m being generous here tbh lol)…
And thusly, the Punika Pass and the Express Event (or whatever you want to call it) will go to waste for a large portion of folks out here.
I realise that I am ranting into the ether here, and that these forums are chock-full of shills and apologists, who for some reason feel personally attacked every time someone dares to question their corporate daddy, but there, I said it.
Have a nice day!
