Punika Knowledge transfer not working

Yes what is with my gold ?

It is fixed, its mentioned in the patch notes, but those of us who compleated it manually have to submit a ticket to refund our gold.

Hi Roxx, please explain this. They’re saying I’m ineligible for refund and refuse to further elaborate.
I went through the Punika quest line after failing the Knowledge Transfer (spent 2400g and 1 Knowledge Transfer slot). This is exactly what you talked about in your post.

I was told I wasn’t eligible to receive my gold back either, claiming that I hadn’t completed the Punika MSQ. Within 2 hours of my knowledge transfer failing the I ran through the Punika MSQ on the day of the patch well before the fix went out. Got my glaivier to 1340 on the first day so there has to be some log in game of me doing either my chaos dungeons/Ingrexion guardian raids (not exactly sure how the logs work).

Didn’t think I’d have to try to make receipts for this. Trying to look through in game to see if there is any way I can find documentation to refute this. Does anyone know of any way or place to look that has dates for anything I could use?

The burden of proof should not be on us. This is a bug due to their own mistakes. They have access to all the resources to prove if we indeed went through Punika before the fix was release. The fact that they refuse to show us proofs is very telling.

Well I do have proof, and my refund remains to be seen.

I’ve even gone as far as making a public google drive for two characters on West and East regions with screen shots illustrating the failure. Specifically 1 account I was able to show the failure itself step by step after realizing the first attempted fell short.

I’ve posted in the forums already with the same screen shots and character details. Along with making two tickets now. Once on the manual ticketing system, and another while trying to see if live support would resolve my issue, later telling me they could only create a ticket for me, but not do any reverting itself.

I wonder if anyone has even been refunded at this point, because at this point and with this definitive proof I have. If this doesn’t get a refund, no one will.




They aren’t claiming that the glitch didn’t occur to me, they’re claiming that I didn’t complete Punika’s questline myself before they had patched the knowledge transfer bug, therefore they won’t refund me my gold.

You’ve documented good proof that the glitch happened here, but nothing that would show that you would have completed the questline before that bug fix went out, if that also is an issue for you, which is what will be required if they hit you with the same nonsense they said to me.

I submitted another ticket trying to contest this, but they’ll probably tell me to get lost because I was unable to find anything in game to refute their claim, like an achievement with a date attached to it, due to the fact that most things with dates attached are account wide that would have been completed by mains a long time ago.

It seems like a lot of people still haven’t even received a reply from AGS support regarding this and I know at least one other person, @Shadowx10, was told the same thing as me. So since there are at least two people being told this, more people will probably be told the same thing despite actually deserving their gold refunded.

I didnt receive a response back but talked with chat again. They stated that my gold was refunded. But my knowledge slot was still used. I didnt get the gold in my product inventory or mail and didn’t pay attention to my gold count so hard to tell if I was actually refunded the gold.


Just checked the character I did the transfer on and it was in my mail XD

Still waiting on the refund, sadly. Live chat support opened a ticket for me but it’s been a week, so we’ll see

However, this issue is being worked on and the fix is already in place, and you should get the gold back soon once the system is automatically solves the issue

I quoted Roxx’s post in every ticket and it look like support is throwing whatever excuse to not investigate the issue on the affected character.

Got my refund, admittedly it did take several attempts of contacting Live Chat but we got there in the end:

I got my ticket back. It said I won’t be refunded gold unless I can provide proof of me manually completing quest before the hot fix.
